No defensive heart for most of the game.
And how is that different than the rest of the season? It's a common fault of teams that dominate in sub-major conferences.
... but did anyone else think Lawson looked off?
Would you be on if three players just as good took turns at keeping you off your game?

Yes, Kansas kicked the crap out of us tonight, but you are an idiot for saying that UNC would finish 5th or 6th in the Big 12. KU and Texas were top teams, but do you really think that K-State, Baylor and Oklahoma would finish ahead of us. Use your head and quit talking out of your a**.

I agree... 1 game does not make a team or a respected conference complete crap.
UNC just got out-coached and out-played by a good strong defensive KU team. UNC doesn't just fall to the lower ranks just because they lost this game.
KU lost earlier to K-State and OSU for heavens sake, but no one would question their teams ability now?
Or take Texas for example. They played a good season, lost some games they shouldn't have, and then got completely steam-rolled by Memphis. Since Memphis did the same thing to Texas as they did to opponents in Conference-USA, does that mean that Texas should then be compared with the likes of Tulsa and ECU? No. One game doesn't invalidate everything you have done up to that point. Also, you can't honestly tell me going into this game you felt UNC would only be a a middle of the pack Big 12 team and be serious about it.

UNC ran into a buzz saw. Any of you alive long enough to recall the Villanova - Georgetown final in 1985?
Georgetown and Patrick Ewing were the BIG favorites (12+ ) points and Villanova shot about 22-25 in the first
half to win the game......shooting over 80% or so.
It can and does happen. Great teams, which I think UNC is (and I am a Big 10 and Pac 10 Fan), occasionally
run into a buzz saw.
Tell you what, though. Kansas better have saved some of their shooting...
cause they will be needing it, and more, to STAY with Memphis.
Prediction: Memphis 74- Kansas 61.
You could (or wait to ) look it up.

First of all, Kansas will have its hands full with Memphis. They are a great team playing their best ball of the season.
I could not be prouder of my Jayhawks for thrashing UNC. UNC is a great team, but Kansas just came ready to play. They were incredible early getting to loose balls and knocking down shots.
There was no quit in North Carolina and they made it interesting.
Can you say, 'Closure'? I am really, really happy right now.

Let me just say, as a Kansas Fan, what a fantastic first 13 minutes of basketball which quickly followed by utter stupidity on KU's decision making. And UNC did a great job of not throwing in the towel. In the end the better team that day won.
Also, i would like the fans of UNC and the rest of the people who read these posts to know that KU is OVER roy leaving for his alma mater. Of course we were bitter but the media has done a great job of blowing things way out of proportion. I, like most KU fans, are thankful that we had roy on our sidelines for 15 years and wish him nothing but the best and when im not cheering for KU im cheering for UNC.

KU was at the top before Williams came. He coached in one of the top conferences. UNC fans do not study history. Everything UNC had was from Kansas. And except for one KU grad that was so full of himself (Dean Smith), Williams would still be at Kansas. Who coached Smith, Fog Allen. Who coached Fog Allen, James Naismith, you know, the guy who invented the game. Where was Smith from? Emporia, Kansas.
