Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Who slaps the lineman on the butt to get him to adjust? The LB's who is talking to the other LB's to get them into their correct position? The LBs. Safeties are 15-25 ft behind the line of scrimmage, so if you think a safety can tell the lineman where to line up you are a moron. LB's are the Shortstops where as the safety is like the centerfielder. They both are the play callers for there levels. Safeties have the back four and LB"s have the front seven. It's a given, you don't even have to know football to see who is adjusting the lineman.
