Quincy who?  Buried so deep on the depth chart that a grave robber would have given up digging before this guy was found.

A player who's jock has more talent than yourself!  He is one of the few players on the Bengals who had his head straight.  Know your facts before you speak.  He was Big East player of the year 4 years ago

He is one of the few players on the Bengals who had his head straight.  He was Big East player of the year 4 years ago If his head was so right and he was so talented, why, exactly, was he released then?  Looks like the team thought at least one of those things wasn't true.

To be fair, I dont think his release had anything to do with an arrest 10 months ago.  He's simply not an NFL quality running back and was cut.  Playing a grand total of 4 games in the four seasons since he was drafted in the 7th round in 2004 probably says all an NFL fan needs to know about Quincy Wilson.

Seriously, though.  Dumb arrest.  Refusal to disperse outside a bar at 3 AM and arrested along with 13 or 14 others?  How does someone just not leave when the police tell them to?  If his release was in any way influenced by his arrest, it's obviously a decision he's gonna regret for a long, long time.

Of course, this is newsworthy.  If the Bengals waive every player who has a rap sheet, they won't be able to field 11 starters on offense and defense.  They will be holding open tryouts.  Every Vince Papale wannabe in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area will be hauling their pork-bellied, sibling humping lumps of flab to Paul Brown Stadium looking to make the team.  Dogs and cats living together.  Mass hysteria!

Ocho Cinco will come to New England, drink the Belichick kool-aid and will become a integral part of the Super Bowl XLIII Champion New England Patriots.  TJ Houshmandzadeh, being the only wideout on the field after all the others have been waived, will seek placement in the NFL witness protection program.  Carson Palmer will have his own reality TV show, depicting the trials and tribulations of a Bengal starting QB.  It will be called "I've fallen and I can't get up!"  Paul Brown will sell the team to Mark Cuban who will move it to Las Vegas where they will be renamed the Las Vegas Pussies.

Newsworthy?  This may be the story of the year!

It's newsworthy because it tells everyone that the Bengals are no longer content with players getting arrested.

I guess the Bengals are trying to purge the poison from their team.  Now, if they could trade Chad Johnson, thay might actually have a decent locker room.

I'm sure everyone is proud of them laying down the law after only three or four years of this. What a bunch of stand up guys.

Probably would not have been mentioned if not for the Henry release, good for them though. Maybe they can start to change the atmophere there. It did look like they were starting to turn into a decent team before they all started getting arrested.

The point of this story is to show Marvin Lewis is finally starting to take a stand against the disicipline issues on his team. Out of 10 players that have been arrested in that 14 month span 3 got cut not bad to start

It looks like the lockups in Cincinatti are going to be a little less crowded this year, or so the Bungles hope.

nevermind this guy...  everyone knows Chad Johnson is the biggestproblem on the Bengals... not the 10 arrests in 14months, or the multiple player suspensions*

I don't think it tells anyone that.  The arrest was 10 months ago.  If they wanted to go back and release player for issues like this, they wouldn't have stopped with Wilson.  This was performance related.  Its the second or third time the Bengals have released him.

Well said, believenurself, that was my first thought as well.................Quincy who? The Bengals should have released this guy, and they should also release Chris Perry. This guy has been another Kijana Carter, a first round pick from Michigan who is always hurt. This guy has been on the injury list EVERY SEASON that he has been on the team. He is a waste of time and money. With Rudi and Kenny, the Bengals need to drop the dead weight.

Oh yeah, and cutting a 3rd receiver who is trying to match Pacman's rap sheet was a good thing.

Uh, mmm, Carter was one of Paterno's boys and Marvin says Perry is one of the best practice players he's ever seen. What else do you need?
