i heard last night that if they don't get self they might go after gilespie? he just went to kentucky for a lot of money only last year. what the hell.

Yeah, I heard that too but I dont think Gilespie would be a good fit for the program I'd rather him just stay in Kentucky! If we dont get Self which I doubt we will I'd like to see the guy from Southern Illinois here ( cant remember his name ) he is somewhat still young and can recruit really well I think he would be my second option!

I heard Gilespie had called and said he was interested in the job. You know he wouldn't be a bad safety net if the deal for Self falls through. Gilespie never even negotiated a contract through his first year at Kentucky.

You spell his name Gillispie and he's not going anywhere. OK State would be a step down.

I would assume there is some truth to the rumor.  For whatever reason, Gillespie did not ever sign his contract with Kentucky.  Not sure that he is the right fit for OSU though.

I would be very excited to have Self come to OSU, but I will be very surprised if that happens.  Not because Kansas is a better  job (even though it is) but because he would still be in the same conference.
