Where's Cardinal great Stan the Man Musial? He hit 475 home runs and rapped out 3630 hits. He deserves to be on your list. There's also Pirate greats Willie Stargell and Roberto Clemente and San Diego's Tony Gwynn. I'd say that the players I named are at least as good as Derek Jeter and Chipper Jones.

Hey, what about Shoeless Joe? Babe Ruth, arguably the greatest baseball player of all time said, "I copied Jackson's batting style because I thought he was the greatest hitter I had ever seen. I still think the same way." I think we should take the Babe seriously and add Shoeless Joe to this list.
