Stevie & Ken Holland Q&A:

info.detnews.com/video/index.cfm

Homeboy David Legwand might be back in the line-up for Nashville so we need to bury this team now before he can shake the rust off and punish us by having his usual big games against us....seems he always plays good against his hometown, grrrr. He's been out for awhile with a bad bone bruise on his foot so we can hope he won't make much of an impact if he plays in Game 3.

Poile & Trotz pretty much called out Bettman and the NHL for lousy officiating in Games 1 & 2 which makes it sound like they would of won those games if all the calls went there way Trotz whined about Homer interfering with Ellis on that one goal in Game 2 saying he was in the crease???? Is he blind???? I'm breaking out the worlds smallest violin just for him and their Gm Poile We've been outplaying Nashville overall in this series easily.

Gotta give 'em credit though, they are playing us well and they won't go down easy that's for sure. Trotz is a good coach but he's got no respectable argument saying Homer was in the crease on that goal because I've seen it replayed several times and he was on the line the whole time. Just like Giguere bumping into to him to try to draw the penalty even though he wasn't in the crease luckily for us the refs working game 2 weren't as stupid and didn't call Homer when Ellis starting skating into him.

We went up on Calgary 2-0 last year but the series went to Game 6!!! Let's finish this and put this team back "  Ring of Fire" and end it in 4 Are we going to hear more Johnny Cash songs when the games are in Nashville? Probably not, Something lame like Carrie Underwood or some other boring crap.

Arnott - 0 points -2

Dumont - 0 points -4

Wings 7-1 in takeaways yesterday and we won 63% of the faceoffs!

-0 series lead.

Haha, yes I heard those idiots rubbing it in on Dom.

We had the last laugh of course

Seems the media around the US and in Canada are against us and on NHL Network they described our winning as "The Hockey Gods smiling on us." Whatever!

Time to quote my boy Mickey Redmond:

"You gotta be good to be lucky and lucky to be good."

We are better and in the end the Predators won't have enough luck to outlast us in a best of 7 series, bottom line.

Think we'll see Tootoo fight in this series? I hope D-Mac takes him on when were up by a lot in Game 4 and about to go on to the round 2

Wasn't that emills here a big McCarty hater that I argued with about having him on our team would be a big plus? The Joe went absolutely bonkers when he scored and his toughness and fan favorite presence is a huge positive for our team. Why Darren doubters couldn't see that I don't understand. Intangibles are a big part to a winning team and team chemistry no matter how talented a team is what matter most when it comes to winning the Cup. Players feed off his energy and his comeback effort which we would get from another highly skilled player that is a jerk as a person and cares more about personal stats than his team winning.

It's all about team chemistry. At this point in the playoffs all the team have a lot of talent.

Go Wings!!!!

TooToo will get his share not to worry. D-Mac will not let him do whatever he wants for much longer. I can't believe the hit he put on draper, didnt he see what happened last time someone did that. Emills said he would eat crow if D-Mac came back and helped the team, and so far he has done both and he is no where to be found. (Lets hope he continues so I don't have to bring out the plate.)

And Suprisingly (for me at least) Hasek has been playing very well. However the second period of game 2 is what I'm worried about. Hasek can't let in those kind of goals. The annoucers said it perfectly "most golies would have stayed in that net in that case,"..... But not Hasek. And then the goal after that was pretty pethetic looking to.

I just hope that the 2nd period wasn't signs of the future and was just a hiccup in Haseks play. If he continues to play like hes played the five other periods however, He will be holding a cup over his head in no time.

I almost don't want the wings to sweep Nashville. The HUGE break in between series might leave the a bit rusted. But then again a seven games series would leave them tired out. So a five, maybe six game series is more beneficial for the wings than a sweep.

Welcome back D-Mac!!!!!  The Wings are way too much for Nashville to handle.  We said this before, but you know people love to hate on Wing Nuts.  Wings looking for the big broom for this mess.

I will say the Preds somehow get lucky and pull one off at home.  They'll get some obscene bounce, or something.  Otherwise, Detroit dominates the series, and wins in 5.  It's great to be in the playoffs.  Unfortunately, I don't have any channels that let me see games -- unless a network happens to carry it, because espn won't.

The last two game were on VS and NBC. And I'm pretty sure it will be on those two channles for the rest of the playoffs. You may not get VS but you have to get NBC...Dont you???

Hawkeye, the Predators already had their obscene bounce off the stanchion behind Hasek and right in front of the net for a layup by Radulov.

I'd like to see a game where Nashville isn't making comments about the refs after. I mean, I understand the no-goal should have been reviewed, and probably would have counted. But there was no definitive replay from Game 1 showing the winning goal to be offside (that I've seen), and Homer did not touch Ellis on the 2nd goal in Game 2, and the rule was changed to state you can have a toe or heel in the blue paint, as long as you do not interfere with the goalie's ability to stop the puck. In my mind, the Predators have one legit beef, and need to let the rest of it go.

Big game tonight! If the Wings win tonight, it's over. But if the Preds get the win, it could be a long series.

I find it hillarious that Trotz and Poile are complaining that Lidstrom's goal should be disallowed because Holmstrom's heel is in the crease while at the same time claiming that the Nashville goal should have counted even though a player was in the NET.  Sounds like double-talk to me.

GO WINGS!!!
