Let's say your wife or girlfriend has scheduled something for the two of you to do, only problem is she scheduled it the same time as the draft. What do you do or tell her?

Its simple shade.

You say that you love the Saints more than she loves her family.  Done deal.  Therefore your love overrules her love and you are staying to watch the draft.

Just kiddin.

Either I am really lucky or I really do wear the pants in my house.  My wife has never and states that she will never mess with me during football season or take me away from watching anything to do with my favorite sports (Football and MMA).

Tell her there is only one 2008 NFL Draft.  If you miss this one you there will never be another 2008 Draft to see again.  So it is a once in history type of deal.

Worst case scenario... go get a Black Berry now!!

If she really really loves you, you'll be watching the draft live in your venue of choice.

Stay home watch the draft and then get her a diamond.

As Ron White says: "Diamonds......That'll shut her up"

Tell her that if you miss the draft and the Saints draft the best draft in the history of the draft that you will never let her live it down.

Tell her that this is the very first time that the Saints get to pick #10 in 2008 and it is just to special to miss.
