Sucks for Miles, but this new Blazer team doesn't really need him, nor does he fit in anymore here.  This move creates space for future salary increases on its key components and also gets rid of some dead weight.  I bet he doesn't sign with anybody else, or play anymore.

Thank God! This guy would have been such a disease to this young team, as a Portlander, I am relieved this guy is finally on his way out. A few Blazer fans wanted to give this guy another chance, last time I heard from him he was at a strip club with Dennis Dixon, this franchise has had enough of that stuff.

Being from St. Louis, Darius was always my favorite NBA player. I hope another team gives him a chance to revive his career.

With so many talented young players coming into the league, no team is going to waste a roster spot with a injury prone player, like Miles. It's sad to see his career end due to injury, but I really doubt that we will see him play in the NBA again.

He could always showcase his skills in Europe or the D-League. Not to mention he could make a roster out of training camp.

Another smart move by the Blazers.  Who cares if it sucks for this punk.  He's a bad influence, has a bad work ethic and we don't need that on this team.  I for one am ecstatic that they are dumped this worthless piece of crap.

The nice thing is that they will have almost 30 million in cap space in 2010 and hopefully they can sign some serious talent to go with what they already have.
