i spent the weekend in the pothole of the universe. i think i died and went to hell for a day. in other words, i was in gainesville, fl. my sister is looking into getting an MBA and unfortunately UF has maybe the best program in the country. so they invited her up for some seminar saturday. while we were there we went to the orange and blue scrimmage game. and after that we went to a florida-arkansas baseball game. and i confirmed something i've long thought true......gators fans and students and employees are stupid.

allow me to explain.....i saw a few things that made me crack up laughing.
1) we were in a building looking for the bookstore to buy a present for my grandpa for his birthday. there was a sign on the wall that said the UF bookstore was to the left. so i looked to my left and there was nothing. i look to the right and amazingly, there was the bookstore!
2) when we were driving through gainesville, the morons slowed down at every single green light. even if there was nothing in front of them
3) they had a few college world series pennants flying over the baseball stadium. one of them was upside down
4) the baseball team does not sit in the 1st base dugout. they sit in the 3rd base dugout even though they are the home team. which is forgivable except that the first base side is shielded from the sun. so the opposing team is sitting in the cool shade the entire game while the gators sit in the direct florida sun for 3 hours.
i could go on but i think this is enough proof. i'm so glad i'm a noles fan

Pothole of the universe. Are you joking me? Have you ever driven through Tallahassee? Much less been there? Now thats a dump. I feel like I'm about to get shot when driving through there. It is disgusting and I am embarrassed Tallahassee is in Florida much less the Capitol. Then Fsu, there academics are awefull and with how many players get in trouble it seems like they recruit from jail. I'd like to take a visit to FSu though, just so I can see how crappy it is inside the campus because if it is as ugly as outside, I feel bad for any poor soul who goes there.

If you're going to call us stupid, try to at least mix in a little grammar. I think you meant "pothole of a university". "Pothole of the university" would mean that you literally hung out in the University's sewer. Which if you are used to spending time in Tallahassee would probably make you feel right at home.
Of coarse UF has "maybe the best program in the country." She could go into one of the best programs in the country at FSU too, all she has to do is get an MBA in Circus or Chiropractic. Then she could spend the rest of her life wearing big red clown shoes or rolling a skeleton through a mall parking lot like a lot of other FSU grads.
As far as your other points, the bookstore was on your left. I know where you were standing when you saw the sign. I've seen it myself. Being a Seminole your mom probably has to sew animals in your clothes so they match and put a big "L" and "R" on your shoes so you don't get confused.
The upside down flag was to warn people that your dumb ass was in the house, and people were slowing down at green lights because they assumed you wouldn't stop at a red light, I don't blame them.

Florida is .... in all reality ... a great school. Ranked 22nd in the WORLD University rankings. There is a lot to be proud of there for the Gator faithful. It should be noted that the University of Florida as well as Florida State University are two Universities in a system of Florida schools known as the State University System whereas UF recieves a state endowment of $1.219 Billion and FSU recieves only $549 million. The University of Florida is the flagship of the State school system.
FSU is known for it's liberal arts programs until you get to the Graduate studies programs where they rank in the late teens to early twenties in most catagories. UF is the state's undergraduate monolith.
NOW. Why anyone .... FSU fan or not ... would want to invite UF fans to this type of debate is beyond me!! Right now, athletically (football) we have little room to talk ... were it me, I'da waited until we started to dominate again. And yes, we have dominated before ... remember, Bobby's STILL 17-16-1 against UF.

mehaul13, gator students and employees are stupid yet they have the best MBA school in the country,hmmm, that makes no sense what so ever. I believe that Florida is the most prestigious school in Florida and one of the best public school in the country as far as grades go. They are also one of the hardest school to get accepted to, however FSU has been getting easier and easier to get into. My friend was rejected from FAU and got into FSU. Also many of their education programs are being dropped due to debt, I know this because my Uncle is a professor their and just received tenure.
