Yeah, dim,....You're an expurt on the final round of the Master's.....even though you wouldn't/couldn't finish an 18 hole round there, at Augusta, with 3 DOZEN nuggets in your golfing carry bag....!!! Maybe the front 9,.....but you would never get through Amen Corner and the 15th and 16th holes without losing ALL of your 36 "brand-spanking" new nuggetz...!! NOT even close....!!!!
In case you forget how clue-less you are.....The Master's hierarchy have decided, the last few years, that they want the winning scores to be similar to the US Open scores. You cannot compare previous year's scoring at Augusta, with the last two...It's like comparing apples and oranges if you know what you are talking about...!!!
The slopes, contours, mounding and "run offs".....that they have implemented on the course the last couple of years, combined with the speed of the greens...and this year the 25-30....and GUSTING to 35 MPH winds on Sunday afternoon, played a HUGE part in the scoring.......!!
If, ......IF, the winds were at 5-10, or there about on Sunday, then, the scoring for Immelman and the entire field would have been MUCH, MUCH different.....!! So,...take some of your medication....put on your "Nice Soft Gweggy" music.....and go to sleep.....When you wake up in the morning, you'll most likely feel extremely embarrassed about your crazy posts in here tonight......but we'll cut you some slack....those of us who know your condition, that is...!!
Once again,..you prove how clue-less you are when it comes to tournament golf....and this time ..IN SPADES...!!!! The winds that were whipping around Augusta on Sunday afternoon, completely changed the complexion of the scoring and made it imposible for one of the exciting and "birdied filled" back 9's we've grown accustomed to over the years at the Master's to take place.

Good gracious....Where is that big box of "Kleenex" tissues.......I know I'm going to need a hanful of those things after reading that post, dim........I think my heart may have leaped a little bit when I just read that....Nope,..I was wrong....sorry,..it was just that mushroom pizza I had for dinner, kinda "repeating" on me......Oh well.......I thought it might have been the "birds" chirpping garbage and the "blah, blah, blah....Spring has sprung" nonsense.......but it wasn't....It was just gas...!!!!

Bottom line is: immelman WON, tigger DIDN'T!
Can anybody say 'sour grapes'
It's time the fanatical Woods fan club on here dealt with it & moved on. They are going on as if someone died. Jeez, the guy lost a golf tournament that's it, get some perspective!

US Open at (damned) Winged Foot ... Geoff Ogilvy (at +4) wins after 1) Jim Furyk screws up the final two holes; 2) Colin Montgomery remembers that he can't win a major and plays to form and 3) Phil ... well, we know what happened on the 72nd hole. I know it was the US Open, and I give Ogilvy credit for doing what it seemed no one else could do that day and make a putt, not drive hiss tee shot into the Hudson River, etc.; but Sunday's finish at Augusta by those in contention (including Tiger) pails in comparison to (damned) Winged Foot a couple of years ago.

I presume that statement is tongue-in-cheek. If not, maybe you should leave.

thejimster5, I throughly enjoyed the Masters. Great competitors. Snedeker and Immelman, made mistakes, bogeys and such, not one time did we see thrown clubs, clubs hitting objects other than the ball, no four letter words no blaming noises for bad shots, etc.. And at the Masters , being so competitive, they didn't feel the need to display such actions to get ready for the next hole. Immelman is great, I hope we see him at the top all year, Snedeker also.

I'm trying to think up a way to comment on this and be civil. But I can't. BG you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.
No way you can compare one year to the next or one champion to the next. There are so many variables to golf. Wind, temperature, pressure.... it's an endless process and. Well I give up.
If you have ever played tournament golf. I'm not talking about scrambles but real tournament golf you wouldn't post anything as reduculous as this one. Immelman absolutely deserved and earned the trophy. He out performed the field by a good margin. He kept his nerve and brought it home. He owes no apoligies and made great strides towards his future. He is a Masters champion. This is a very select and elite group. He doesn't have to apoligize for how he won this tournament. He earned it. He may never win another major but he's still in very select company.
