if that is the case then why did Mussina feel that it was justified to hit Ellsbury twice

Considering how many times Red Sox pitchers hit Yankees(Oh, I mean pitches that slipped and accidentally hit Yankees) it's about time you r precious Red Sox get nailed. Even Manny considers it as part of the game. It's only the pansy a$$ RSN that gets all huffy and puffy.

There is only one question in my mind about incidents of this nature. It goes back to last year. How in the hell did Joba miss that gargantuan Barry Bonds sized noggin of Youkilis? Not once, BUT TWICE!!!

"You should work harder to hide the fact that you don't watch baseball...."

I watch lots of baseball, probably since before you were born.  I've seen Farnsworth enough to know he has good enough stuff to where he should be a much better pitcher  than he is.

As usual, another biased Red Sox slant on an issue that had been instigated by the Red Sox long ago. I'm sure, in your demented world, it was ok when Pedro was intentionally throwing at Yankee players (see: Karim Garcia in 2003 playoffs and Gary Sheffield during the classic July series at Yankee Stadium in July) but now that turnabout is finally happening, not you cry, b***h and moan. And, let's not forget Aardsma's pitch that hit A-Rod on Wednesday night. Oh, I forgot- the Red Sox are innocent and never throw at people. Give me a break!!!

But do you understand the game?

"I don't know what his intentions were other then [sic] trying to end Manny's career."

Well, your admitted ignorance of baseball doesn't make your theory true.  It's highly unlikely that Farnsworth thought to himself, "I'm now going to try to end Manny's career by hitting him in the head with a fastball."  It's highly likely that he thought, "I'm gonig to buzz him after our best player got hit yesterday."  This thread is ridiculous.

Take your "what about the children" junk down to the steps of the statehouse.

Whatever side of the fence you fall on with this issue, we could all agree on this:

Kyle Farnsworth will kick the living chit out of any 5 Red Sox players they would like to pick, all at one time.........And isnt that what really matters
