There were some of the regulars on the Cubs board, but it wasn't too active.

I told you guys about Lilly - just that it's happening to him this year, not during the second half of last year. If you're a LHP with average "stuff", you had better be pinpoint on location. Especially with the unbalanced schedule - a lot of LHP get by a year or two because they're difficult to pick up for whatever reason. Teams (especially within the division) seem to be onto Lilly pretty good this year.Well..that's the way it goes..

You explained Lilly? Can you explain to me what's happening to Sabathia? He's off to a rough start.

C.C. has been struggling with his control too hasn't he? He's getting his fastball in the mid-90s, but he's been having trouble locating it in spots where the hitters don't smack it..

Its funny. I'd love to have Sabathia as free-agent signing by the Cubs last year, but so far this year, I dont care if another lefty started for the Cubs.

Unless it was Koufax. Or Spahn.

The thing about Sabathia is that it's happened to him before - he lost 5 straight in the middle of 2005 and gave up 4 or more runs in each game.

Hmmm. If I'm not mistaken, the Brewers WON with this line-up and Prince hit hit first homerun.
Now look how they hit the ball tonight against the Reds.
The Brewers have the best bullpen and lineup in the NL. Once the starting rotation is set and heats up, look out. The Brewers will win the division.
