Wagner looked pretty good tonight, shutting down you guys in the 9th, 1,2,3. He is no Valverde. Still Wagner is the best in the NL East in closing and might be in the NL in general.

Billy Wagner. his best days are behind him. Pat BurrellHey Catfish,

was giving hope gopher balls to

Boston fans have to be the most ignorant fans of all other teams except their own. Could they be capable of having an intelligent thought about another team except the sox? I think not! This statement is so blatantly thoughtless I think I just had a brain aneurism.

I've never seen Chipper Jones so hot. He's just locked in. 4 homers in 2 games? You kidding me? It looks like Chipper's going to take this team out of it's cold spell if he has to do it by himself.

If he can stay healthy, and once Mark Texeira (historically a slow starter) starts hitting like he's capable consistently, Chipper and Tex have enough talent and protection to be a 3-4 punch that can produce numbers that rival David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez (for this season, at least). That's a tough offense all-around, it's the middle relief, the health of the closer(s), and the back-end of the rotation that's a concern for the Braves.

Oh, but wait....

Boston fans have to be the most ignorant fans of all other teams except their own. Could they be capable of having an intelligent thought about another team except the sox? I think not!

I guess my last post kind of disproves that glibly ridiculous statement, huh? Speaking of the ignorance of another fanbase when you know nothing of them yourself, hypocrite? You know what they say about ignorance! It's bliss!

Batting .443 Higher than that, isn't it? I thought it was .443 going into his last AB, and than he got a single. I'll check it out and come back with something concrete.
