love the brand of Hockey the Sharks play. I can honestly say that for a non Northeast or Canadian city to support hockey the way San Jose has is quite refeshing.  Being a Sabres fan, I took a little trip during our West Coast trip this year and out of the three cities, Anaheim, L.A and San Jose, Sharks fans were the most knowledgable, courteous and seemingly loyal fans I had the chance to meet. Of course there was the trash talk going on between myself and Sharks fans but it was all in good fum. In fact, after the game, we were invited to a "Sharks" bar afterwards for good drinks and good times. I wish the Sharks the best of luck and hopefullt their fans can experience something we here in Buffalo never have. That being a nice huge parade with Lord Stanley being the guest of honor. Go Sharks !!!!!!!!!!!!!

totalcarnage99,

Cool post. It's nice to see someone take the time to give a team that is not their favorite some props like you did. The west coast gets trash-talked all the time when it comes to what "real" hockey supposedly is, especially from the northeast and/or Canada, so reading your words is almost as refreshing as your description of San Jose's support for the Sharks. Thanks for that.

Who knows, maybe the Sharks and Sabres will meet for The Cup one year...

Peace.
