why don't you go console some of your blue devil buddies after the 2 horrible showings in the end of season tournaments, and not worry about the Heel fans and the statements we are making or that we're assuming this or that...
Hey...guess where your devils finished this past season in the ACC? Guess where they'll finish next season...and 1st or 2nd is not an option.

Once again, I'm not saying UNC was a bad team but, this years UNC team may have been the most fraudulent team in the history of college basketball to make the final 4. They were terribly over hyped. They looked like a high school team against Kansas and they would have looked like a high school team against Memphis.

Halo...we get it ...you were not impressed with UNC...why are you wasting your time posting about UNC??...go back to your dorm room with your blow up dolls of CDR and D Rose and the whole Memphis State Tiger team, who you apparently think was the greatest team ever assembled in college basketball and do to them what you will...
Whatever you do, DON'T FORGET THIS SEASON...cause it's the best season Memphis State will have for another 25 years...
You Memphis State fans have 3 good seasons in 50 years and now have the audacity to call 36 win teams overrated and "fraudulent" and "terribly overhyped"...
Get over yourselves and this 3-year BLIP of a college basketball program...
And guess what...I and a lot of other people were not that impressed with Memphis State all year...and in the end Memphis State proved us right when they came up short...talk about overhyped, fraudulent and overrated...Memphis State is the poster team for all 3 of those adjectives.

Ya they should've beat them by 40. But UNC has more talent. KU wanted more. UNC came in blowing everyone out and not being prepared. You obviously weren't paying attention to how many calls weren't called on Hansbrough in that game. And I know you know exactly the main reason Kansas blew the Tarheels out, if you are a Kansas fan. The main reason is Williams has the inability to call a time out when the other team is on a huge run. He also kept Hansbrough out for most of the run like i stated earlier.

Take it somewhere else, d'bag. This team lost THREE games, moron. Yeah, completely overrated. They didn't show up against Kansas and it spelled disaster for them.
But thanks for your "ok" on being preseason #1. I'm sure they are so happy they have your approval.
This was a great team that had their worst game of the season in their FF game. Oh, that's right. They made the Final Four when everyone expected them to never make it there. A "number of other teams" that could have knocked them off didn't make it as far as they did. COMPLETELY OVERRATED. You're an embarrassment.

UNC should have won that game? Uh, yeah, watch the game again. KU should have beat them by 40. KU didn't just have more swagger, they had more talent also.
You UNC fans should stop treating the KU game like an aberration and just admit that your team got beat by a better team this time.
If Hansbrough can't stop relying on the refs for calls, he'll be chewed up and spit out in the NBA. They can play pretty physical in that league.

Compared to the rest of the season, this game was not normal by any standards for UNC. I watched KU play all season long and they NEVER played as well as they did against UNC. So, UNC's crappy performance was as much an aberration as KU's flawless first half.
The KU fan base is pathetic. Act like you've won before...oh wait, I guess waiting 20+ years will do that to you.

Hey, these people have the right to dwell on UNC! They can say Tyler wouldn't start in HS if he was black, UNC couldn't beat MIT in basketball. I think Carolina did pretty well this year but I agree the big 3 need to come back for another run. They need to improve their draft position. Thank u non Carolina fans for agreeing.

I think Ellington will probably end p being the best NBA of the three. Hansbrough would be a good fit for a team thats already established , but hes not the player you can build a franchise around. He will be a blue collar player in NBA fighting and scrapping always giving you 100% in practice and in games. That is the type of guy you want to be a role player, I just don't think at this point he will be a great NBA player, but will have a solid career maybe make an all star game during his career. I hope they all come back so we can win another National Championship

UNC was probably the worst team defensive team i've ever seen in a final four. They were completely dominated by Kansas. They would have been dominated by Memphis also. Their defensive intensity was no match for the fire power Kansas had. When UNC got the game close, Kansas simply just turned it back on and blew them out again. It was an embarrasing game for the tarheels. They were exposed for exactly what they were all year long. A sorry ass defensive team.

Memphis' players were the biggest choke artists i have ever seen! I have never seen such chokers in my life. Halo I normally wouldn't stoop to such honesty but u deserve it. Also all ur good players are leaving.

The way you ASSUME Memphis State would have dominated UNC just because Kansas did, shows a lack of basketball intellect I now realize the majority of Memphis State fans suffer from...you more so than the rest...
Are you going to be alright next year when Memphis State has 3, 4 or 5 losses entering conference play?? I also don't see a perfect C-USA record for Memphis State next season either...due to the talent leaving the roster.
Carolina may not have been a very good defensive team this season...at times they were "sorry ass"...I'll give you that...but at least they didn't lose a championship because their star players choked at the free throw line.
Kansas was the best team this year...NOT Memphis State...they were exposed as a team that couldn't hit pressure free throws
As for the better team between Carolina and Memphis State in '07 - '08...doesn't matter and we'll never know...and that includes you and your opinion.

I wouldnt say they are reloaded yet but, they are well on their way to doing just that. This Memphis team could be a top 5 team again next year although, its a little early to be able to know for sure. UNC was an inferior team when compared to Memphis and Kansas this past season. I said it all year long. They didnt have the defense to stop teams like Memphis or Kansas. However, if UNC keeps everyone, they would easily be the team to beat next year. That one extra year together can make all the difference, especially with some of the additions you guys have coming in but, dont count Memphis out. (of course we know the entire nation will) They arent far from being immediately right back in the mix.

To say that UNC was inferior is pretty arrogant on your part...Carolina-Kansas on another night could have produced an entirely different result...Kansas was the better team...I'm not discrediting them...but Carolina was one of the 4 best teams all year long...for you to bash them and call them "fraudulent' and "over hyped" as you have is pretty ridiculous...Carolina had some weaknesses...every team did...
Yes their defense was their main weakness...but for 92% of the season, their offense was more than good enough to cover up their defensive lapses...it wasn't good enough against Kansas...
