Lol yeah it was pretty funny seeing him fly down when he ran into Nash. However he did get wacked by Bell, not as bad as the announcers were making it out to be though.

All in all a great game, the Spurs rose to the occasion in the 2nd half and the Suns didn't. Simple as that

Lol does anyone else like the fact that this thread has more posts than the 3 other highest series threads combined?

Right now in this series, Steve Nash is getting flamed by Tony Parker.  When Nash is on defense, he's looking really slow... of course Parker kinda does that to most players.

Manu Ginobil is beating his man off the dribble on almost every possession too.

The Suns have got to figure out a way to stay in front of the Spurs' guards and keep them out of the paint because eventually some of the Spurs role-players are going to begin hitting a lot more of those wide-open jumpers they've been missing up to this point. Look what happens when they do as in the third quarter of game 2 and the fourth of game 1.

Jose Dance Said it Perfectly and everyone else on here is a joke just about.

Are u honestly gonna tell me that the Hornets,Jazz,or Lakers are gonna beat the Spurs come on and get real and please start respecting them.. They deserve it.

They werent gonna beat the Suns and now the suns are toast... Oh yeah and even if duncan made a three .. One he made it garnett, shaq, howard arent making that. two that didnt win the game.

Spurs are the defending champs with a true great on there team.. So dont sit there and tell me that they play boring b/c if its boring than i wish i was that boring.

Oh yeah right now

1 jordan 2 jabbar 3 bird-duncan

If duncan wins this year

1 jordan 2 duncan 3 jabbar 4 bird.

Face it we are witnessing greatness every time he takes the floor and for those of who you think the Celtics or spurs have a shot .. Are just foolish.

Hey y'all!

The Suns have to be shaking their heads right now. They did everything D'Antoni asked them to and still lost in a big way.

Game 3 should be very interesting!

The Suns will be just fine. They will win the next 2 games at home which will even the series. They will then have to figure out a way to play a 48 minute games against S.A. on the road. They are dreadful at closing the deal, but I still say they win in 6. LA and NO are both better than SA, and if the Suns don't take care of business they will. The "dynasty" is coming to an end.

Just a few things from reading the thread since I left last night:

1) and theres your classy Bell always hitting ppl cuz they are beating you lol

Please. Ginobli went Maradona on that one. Bell might have extended his arm a bit but that wasn't anywhere near what he did to Kobe or what Horry did to Nash. I would argue that it wasn't even the most questionable shot given by a Sun in that game. Shaq's hit on Parker was more aggressive.

2) Why exactly are people calling this series over? Unless I missed something, the Suns have the next two in their backyard. IF we win the next two at home, I don't want any of you people who called this series over coming back here and saying how great the Suns are. The Spurs are SUPPOSE to win at home. Obviously 95% of series don't end up with the home team winning every game, but if you wanna be real philisophical about it, thats how its suppose to be. If we don't get the next two at home, then yea we're probably done. But we took 3 of 4 from them in the season. I see no reason why we can't take 3 of the next 4 from them and bring it to a game 7.

3) Its amazing how basically 2 shots has changed the whole outlook of this series. If either Finley or Duncan had missed their three in Game 1, we'd probably all be talking about how the Suns were on their way home to take command. I've seen nothing in Games 1 or 2 that makes me think we are done. Yea, theres some things we need to improve on, but do you expect Amare to go scoreless in a quarter again? Or the Suns to score 11 points in a quarter again? We're going home with a sense of urgency where we have to win two. I said before the series we have 4 chances to win the series. We win one in San Antonio, we win the series. Two shots left. Im stickin to it.

4) The Suns need to man up and start punishing Parker and Ginobli. Game 1, Shaq and Amare were picking up cheap reach in fouls or trying to take charges and getting called for blocks. Last night they weren't in as much foul trouble, but still didn't pick up smart fouls. You got six fouls for a reason. Use them, SMARTLY. If you got some fouls to spare, put Ginobli or Parker on their a** when they want to drive. Stick and elbow in their chest. We all know for many of the top PG's in the game Parker is one of the poorer FT shooters. I don't care if they hit their free throws. Lets see them do it while their sticking their ribs back in place.

5) Shaq has played great defense on Duncan. He's block or altered so many of his shots already that its not false at all to say the trade made sense. You can agrue the overall picture it hasn't changed anything, but he was brought here to help us beat the Spurs by stopping Duncan. If the other guys aren't getting it done, thats not on him, he's done what he was brought in to do which is slow down Duncan.

6) Diaw is killing us. Not being aggressive when he gets the ball, or hes missing wasy shots down low against smaller defenders. We had the lead down to about 5 last night and he gets the ball down low and instead of going storng at Finely or whoever it was guarding him tries pulling all this fancy spin s*** and gets called for traveling for shuffling his feet. He needs to step up.
