Sadly....even though I hate the Pats I hope Walsh has nothing...however if he actually has a copy of the Rams walkthrough....then everything the Pats have done is tainted and they from top to bottom of the organization are simply LIARS!!!!!  The league may even have to consider stripping them of that Superbowl win??? Maybe??? The only satisfaction would be big Bill's arrogance being trampled over and that would truly be karma well deserved!!

You won't see anyone getting stripped of a title.  Remeber you still have to play the games and the infraction doesn't warrent that.  If there actually is more, you may see more fines and/or more draft picks taken. 

Doubt is would go beyond that.  We just have to get used to hear about this crap for at least one more season.

What will that prove? Perhaps, if he had/has a tape of the walkthrough, he made the tape on his own without the Patriots knowing it. What we have here is a poor chain of custody which makes almost anything he has useless.

But let's see what happens when the smoke screen settles.

I don't see them stripping a title. You can't undo what happened on the field. But Goodell has shown that he will invoke stiff penalties. I could see the loss of another #1 pick and maybe a #2 since the evidence would point out the Patriots were not forthcoming to the commissioner. Belicheck could also get suspended for at least a season.

Or Walsh could have nothing, in which case spygate would finally be put to rest.

Walsh could have a secret tape of Belichick giving Marshall Faulk a wet willie, but "Spygate" will never be put to rest until the Patriots are no longer a winning franchise, because jealousy is the wellspring of Patriot hatred.

I have said this before and I will say it again: Bill Belichick has vociferously denied taping the Rams walkthrough and I believe him. If it turns out that he is a liar and I am a fool, then I will post a thread that says "Belichick is a liar and I am a fool." 

Supposedly when the story first broke it was said that the tape was distributed to players that night and they (defense) studied the walkthrough which was all red zone plays.  The Rams couldn't punch it in until late in the game.  And supposedly some Rams players right after the game commented on how they felt as if they (the Patriots) knew what was coming but chose not to say anything since it would seem like sour grapes or they were making excuses.

Having said that, if it s true nothing will come of it of substance.  Players will get called in for interviews and fines may be levied but stripping a championship and anything of the sort is not going to happen.  You have to wonder why the NFL is pursuing this anyway.  This is a potential black eye that they do not need right now.  The only thig I can think of is that they be trying to keep it in house and kee Congress out.

Here is one for you conspiracy theorists.

They are waiting until after this draft at which the Patriots have a very high pick to review walsh's evidence because what walsh has will require them to further penalize the patriots thus requiring them to strip NE of the 7 pick...if they wait until after the draft they can make a big deal about stripping NE's 2009 first round pick which would be like 28...

first off, If walsh has the walkthrough it does not matter whether he showed it to the coaching staff, or if he did it on his own. Walsh was an employee of the Patriots and therefore his actions are done on behalf of the patriot organization. Think about it, if you do something stupid while you are on the clock at work and cause harm to others, your company can be sued because during that time you are an employee of that company.

2nd off, i wouldn't expect fines/loss of draft picks if the something more comes out. This would be much worse, because it would mean that BB lied, I would expect a possible suspension.
