What Walsh has is going to cause ripples throughout the NFL, and cost the Pats dearly. You Pats fans have seen the last of Belacheat, he will be banned from coaching in the NFL, your team might not have a single draft pick next year, and Kraft could be out so much money from the fines that the team has to be sold.
First off, by the sound of that little ditty above you should start writing some serious fiction. I mean that is very good stuff right there.
Walsh's word is just that, his word. His word!
If he can produce something tangible, he has a case. Otherwise this is a dog and pony show.

Even if Walsh does have something you won't see any bans and no one will get stripped of a title.
My guess is (if there is anything to this guy) you'll see more fines and draft picks. For an aging team like NE, that will sting for a long time.
Either way, the headline next year will read "Vindication Run for the Pats". One of two things will happen:
1) If they don't win it all next year, idiots will come out and say: "See! They could only do it when they cheated. They're frauds!"
2) If they do win it all next year, other idiots will come out and say: "See! They are the best thing to ever touch football and every player in every position and every coach on that team is the greatest ever!"
Both are equaly moronic statements, but what can you do? We just have to get used to hearing about this for at least one more year. Thanks NE, you just had to cheat when you knew the guy across the field knew what you were doing. Good work.

So Walsh will speak to no one but Roger Goddell? A person with a history of burning evidence?
I hope he made copies.

Bigkat: don't be disgusted with the team...the team is still great (despite a few whiners, like every team has). Be disgusted with the coaching staff and management, but support the team.
I wish the meeting was sooner...get this over with and find out if there's anything to it or not.

actually... Its Matt Walsh that should have nothing to worry about... ok great ..so he got the Pats and league to agreenot to sue them... sue for what?? if he has what he says he has, what can th Pats sue for??? there was no " disclosure clause" that disallowed him to leak this info...
does anyone else feel that if he REALLY had something.. he would have just anonymously leaked it tot he media, and avoided all this hassle??

I agree, but we have to have the 2 weeks where ESPN can now beat the dead horse some more with story after story and drag out person after person for opinion after opinion.

Walsh actually can speak to others, but not until he has spoken with the NFL. After he has been interviewed by the NFL/Goodell, he will have the ability to speak to the media/third parties. However, he can't share the information he turns over to the NFL with third parties without Goodell's consent. In addition, he is permitted to retain copies of the documents he is turning over, as well as the right to inspect upon request any tangible evidence he submits.

I suspect what Walsh actually has is taped phone conversations, perhaps where someone on the Pats "admits" to what he is claiming. This is why he is worried about getting sued, because it is illegal to tape a phone calls in Massachusetts without the other person's knowledge. He wanted some kind of legal immunity before he came forward.
We know that he got fired for taping phone calls. He is afraid of legal ramifications. It fits.

mack208says:
widely known that Belichick had admitted to Goodell that it had been a common practice since the start of his time with the team.
Sorry bud Belicheck admitted to no such thing to Goodell, all he admitted to was in the last 2 years and just the incidents that they got caught in, thats also all the video he turned in, this is according to Goodell himself. That is when he said if any other evidence proves they did more than what they admitted to they would get punidhed more and more severely. If Belicheck had admitted to taping all the way to the beginning then Goodell would have no reason to speak with Walsh at all, because everything would have allready been covered. And Just for everyones info, when Walsh first appeared he specifically said he hade video tapes of the walkthrough of the Rams before the SB and others, he said VIDEO's not audio tapes.
And now then, there are several pats fans on here saying that Walsh got fired for doing the same thing he is trying to present to Goodell, well that is not true. He got fired for taping team conversations, all in house stuff. He was paid by the team to tape the other teams. He did exactly what Belicheck paid him to do which is illegally tape teams signals and turn them over to Belicheck by halftime so the team could come from behind and win the game. Happened so many times, allways wondered how they could be ripped up so badly in the first half then come back to win in the second, well easy when ya know what the other team is doing all the time. Cheaters will be cheaters, Belicheck will just find another little loop hole and start cheating that way too, probably stealing the audio signals to the QB next.

As a Falcons fan I hope that the evidence isn't tapes of Thomas Dimitroff. We've had enough problems.

Casts a shadow might be right. I too have thought of that very same scenario. That would make total sense to me.
But like I said innocent until proven guilty. I also thought that maybe its just more signal stealing and its the media throwing enough icing on the cupcake to make it look lilke full sized cake. If thats the case it shouldnt hurt the Pats. BB already said its been normal practice and he turned in all the tapes. If these are the only other tapes of the same thing and they were stolen, then he told the truth and we can move on.
Note: Walsh himself has never been quoted saying he has tape of a walkthrough, thats all been media speculation. Only his lawyer has spoken out, and all he says is Walsh has evidence of the Patriots taping activities.

I have a queston....
Since when is Matt Walsh a 'spygate' accuser?
Spygate is over. His, to this point, unfounded accusations of 'walkthrough' taping came after the 'spygate' investigation was concluded and the punishment was handed down.
So how is he a 'spygate' accuser?
This is about 'walk-throughgate' and if all Walsh has is video of coaches signals then this is all one big joke.
As I've said all along....Matt Walsh has nothing. He is a lying punk and a disgruntled former employee who was fired for multiple transgressions and poor work performance. End of story.
What I really want to know is...
When it's proven the lying punk has nothing, will the Pats get apologies from everyone who called them cheaters and wanted all their accomplishment and Super Bowls called into question before all the facts were in?
Will the many Media outlets issue apologies for being judge, jury and executioner before all the facts were in?
Will Arlen Specter apologize for being a bitter fan of a team that got beat by the Pats and for abusing his power as a US Senator?
Will Jay Glazer 'man up' and tell us how he obtained his copy of the 'spygate' tape?
Will Matt Walsh apologize for accusing a HOF coach and one of the most respected owners in sports for trying to tarnish their reps?
Bill Belichick has apologized, multiple times, will his accusers when proven wrong, man up and apologize?
I doubt it and that's the really sad part.
