The Lakers got Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown( a back up) and Javaris Crittenton(a back up) and your saying we couldnt get Andre Iguadola for Gray( a back up) and Thabo( a back up). Uncanny isn't it. OH and JJ Redick gets no love in Orlando. Van Gundy is a tool who doesn't see talent.

Your logic is flawed my friend. Pau Gasol was a salary dump by a bad team that was desperate to unload him for something (anything). Andre Iguodala on the other hand is a rising star on a developing team. Oh, and you're not getting anything for Aaron Gray. He is a future D-league player.
The JJ Reddick stuff is just silly. Stop it. He's too short and slow to have any real impact in the league. This is the NBA, not the ACC. Oh, and Van Gundy is a hell of a coach. What are you watching?

I agree that we need another big. But my logic was to trade Deng and Gordon for the rights to draft Beasley.
Then when Duhon walks, we are in need of another guard, preferably a PG. I know E Gordon is not a true PG, but he is a BIG upgrade from B Gordon, bigger and much better defense. Westbrook might slip to wherever the Bulls pick too.
E Gordon / Westbrook and Beasley would be an upgrade from Deng and B Gordon IMO. Beasley will be a very good player, potentially a future allstar.
If that doesn't happen, and Pax drafts a big, then i hope it is Jordan or McGee, and not Hibbert...he is too slow. That's the last thing we need is another slow C.
Hinrich / Gordon or Westbrook
Hughes / Sefolosha
Nocioni / Beasley (untill ready to start)
Gooden / Thomas
Noah / Gray

Whats this crap about Redick being too short he is 6'4". How is 6'4" short? Your the one that thinks the answer to our problems is Eric Gordon??

First all JJ Redick is where he belongs. On an nba team, but still developing. I think he can be a nice long range option of the bench at best. Yes, he's a good shooter, but he's short at 6'4 for a SG and doesn't play a lick of defense. That is why he averaged about 7 minutes a game. Secondly, Russell Westbrook fall to the Bulls? He's not even projected until about 15 or so, middle of the first round to late first round. He is a combo guard at about 6' 4. At the #9 pick if that's what they end up with, that would be a reach, but would make a good backup to Kirk Hinrich or Texas guard DJ Augustin who just declared for the nba draft today. Eric Gordon is listed at 6'3 and a shooting guard, not what the Bulls need, we currenly have a very similar in many ways player to him in Ben Gordon. The Bulls want size in their backcourt, especially at the SG position. Look at 6'7 Sefolosha, and 6'5 Hughes. A 6'3 SG is out the equation for the Bulls unless it's their own Gordon, BG. I would look at a backup to Kirk since Duhon probaly wont be back. Augustin, Westbrook, maybe UCLA teammate Darren Collison gets a few looks. Love is really practical. He's slow, and would be third on the depth chart behind Drew Gooden and Tyrus Thomas, thus making it a waste of a pick. Love's value really went up in the ncaa tournament, but don't let that fool you, he played alongside two other 1st round nba to be players. Prior to that he was a projected late first to mid-second. Tyler Hansborough, the collegiate player of the year, isn't projected to be taken until the late first round and he is better than Love.

Point taken, however not many players in this years draft are ready to contribute right away. Thats why so many Freshmen are projected to go in the First Round. This draft is about Potential. Kevin Love has great potential at a place of need. Tyler Hansborough is a better player for now but would most likely not be available for the draft. If he is he still would not start over anyone on the current staff and has a lower celing than Love.

MCTRINI,
Love is strong as an ox, and is a good rebounder with good post skills in the college level, but do you think he can be as effective in the NBA?
I know that in order to get rebounds in the NBA, that you need to have good position. Along with position, you need to have decent vertical jump.
That is one of my concerns with Love, the other is quickness on the defensive end.
Do you think he would be a wise pick at #9?
I agree with you on potential, as others like Jordan and McGee have a ton of.
To me, this pick has much to depend on, first and foremost, the new coaches style of play.
Here is a hypethetical question for you guys..............
Let's assume Rick Carlisle is named the new coach. Does Love fit his style game?

Danilo Gallinari is a player that at 6'10" could be a good fit in the Bulls back court.
He is listed as a SG, but some of the articles i have read say that he plays like a PG.
My concern with him at the PG position would be his ability to defend the smaller PG's in the league. It could pose matchup problems for the Bulls on defense. They would have to make the right substitutions, by having him guard the 2.
He would be a definate upgrade to BG.
He might be a guy worth taking a chance on, what do you guy's think?

Anyone that had Larry Brown on thier predictions list as the next coach of the Bulls, can now make a new prediction.
I still hope for Rick Carlisle or Paul Silas.
