I know many of you will disagree with me but last nights win was a prime example of why McGrady isnt a dependable star player.  With the Rockets up by only a few points and the ball in their possession McGrady gets bumped hard by Kirolinko(sp) away from the ball.  It being a very very crucial possession you would think he would play on and get open.  Instead he tries to run the other guy over blatently in from of the ref.  Let his emotions get the best of him and gets offensive foul.  On ensuing Jazz possession McGrady leaves his man wide open while getting lost under the basket and gives Jazz UNCONTESTED layup.  Then next Rockets possession he gets ball and drives on a wild, ill advised, drive to the basket and is fouled.  What does he do?? Miss one of the free throws!!!! That was just one 3 possession sequence of events with less than 2 minutes left in the game at a crucial time when the Jazz are making a push.  This is repeated time after time, whether its going cold in the 4th when needed most, or losing his temper and committing stupid fouls.  Then he gives a smart a ss interview afetr he game like he shouldnt be bothered about talking to reporters.  Hell, he shouldnt have even been the one interviewed.  The player who blocked that last shot by the Jazz should have been.(I cant recall who it was right now) I guess my whole point of this post is to see what you real fans think.  McGrady can be spectacular but at the same time it seems like he is always a liability in the last quarter in the playoffs.

The UKNOWN guy who blocked the last shot was, my man Carl Landry, who next year should be starting on this Rocket team.  Wow! what a steal in the draft, I watched him at Purdue and this guy just knows how to play the game and plays hard all the time, with or without teeth.

I think Kirilenko is just being the annoying bean pole that he is.  So, yeah Tracy McGrady made some mistakes that game, he's been playing with a sore shoulder for how many weeks?  Im not sure he's playing awful but the Jazz are defending him well in the 4th.  That's how I see it.

Idk McGrady was one of the clutch guys in the final 3 minutes with a block a couple of rebounds and a jumper and a few free throws.

I think you are looking for the negative and ignoring all the good things T-Mac did in the fourth. In general T-Mac is struggling (and has been for a month or so), but I can't fault him for Game 3. He delivered.

"Instead he tries to run the other guy over blatently in front of the ref"

Please...T-Mac barely touched Kirilinko. That was yet another Jazz flop that the ref fell for. Although in general I thought the refs called a great game. The Jazz are the biggest whiners "that never foul" - especially in their home arena. And for some reason the refs normally give in and give the Jazz a lot more home calls than others get. Maybe the thin air has something to do with it...

just saying i am more of a Rockets fan than Jazz but how can the Jazz never foul especially at home when they lead the league in fouls?

Jesus, are you kidding me?  How many little touch fouls and phantom-contact calls did T-Choke get in game 4?  Obviously it wasn't enough.

You guys are really funny! The Refs have been favoring the Rockets this whole series, except MAYBE one game when it was called fair. I dont see why you are complaining, at houston d-will got knocked all over the place! Then last night man everytime he drove he got drilled or hacked! G

When I say the Jazz get a lot of home calls - I'm talking quality, not quantity. Yes, the Jazz are the most penalized team, but they seem to get the favorable calls during critical junctions of the game. It seems like every time the Rockets get some momentum, a jazz player flops and the whistle blows.

And Brooks, Landry, Scola, and Hayes have received more than their share of phantom fouls called against them. Nothing sucks the life out of a rally like a couple of bad calls.

Why do the jazz cry and complain after every call against them? That approach may be effective with some refs, but I have no respect for that kind of ball.

The exception I see is Ronnie Brewer - I like that kid. He shows a lot of potential.
