the way i see this going is the Suns will bring Tim Duncan away from the glass and NO ONE will be able to defend Amare Stoudemire who is averaging 25 and 9 while TIm is averaging 19 and 3.
Not sure what this stat is for but, I assume that it is points and rebounds but, this can't be true because Tim had 17 rebounds last game. This is also not true in the season without even having to look. Tim is averaging 3 blocks a game but, STAT is not averaging 9.
Please elaborate.
you are correct, i looked at Tim's scoring and Tony's rebounds.. Tim has 19 points, and 12 rebounds so far as averages, Amare is 25 and 9
sorry.. thanks for making me check... i hate giving out inaccurate data... makes me look like a donk...

jefe,
Wow, that was a complete 180 from being pissed about my comment wishing the Suns/Spurs match-up was the Western Conference Finals. I'm not going to lie, I expected a longer response with a different tone...
I would like to speak in Shaq's defense now... Lets agree that EVERY team EVER has needed multiple pieces and contributors to accomplish anything. When sports fans debate such topics, it's generally an argument of who was more important... I'm curious for EVERYONE to chime in, who was more important to the Lakers Shaq/Kobe era that generated three Championship seasons? That is just a question of curiosity... I want to hear from NON-Laker fans.
Shaq, yes, gives himself nicknames and will drop lines such as "I'm still the baddest 36-year-old ever created"... However, when he does all of these things with the media, I still believe much of the reasoning behind it is to provide humor or be comical. Shaq loves to be funny, so alot of the comments he makes aren't due to the fact he's an arrogant prick. For instance, he once dropped the line "Its tough being an NBA sex icon..", but you know he didn't really mean that. I like Shaq when he acts like a big child, its amusing... So please don't take ALL the comments he says too seriously.
As for calling out Ricky Davis and Chris Quinn after leaving Miami, its true he probably shouldn't have dropped names. However, he still has the highest respect for D-Wade and Riley. He said he went to Miami to add a chapter to Riley's novel of a career and wanted to help D-Wade become the best player in the league and do whatever he needed to to win a title.
In regards to coming back to camp in and out of shape... I suppose that occurred. However, remember that whenever he's challenged, he's proven he has the work ethic to be in the necessary shape. Remember, when Jackson challenged him, he answered. When Pat Riley gave him a weight and a body fat percentage his first year with the Heat, he answered. Now, he's doing everything the Suns trainers tell him, and has gotten into much better shape than he was with the Heat. I'll admit, POST age 32, he hasn't remained in shape for the duration of time he should have, but I would say there have been MUCH WORSE cases of dealing with conditioning in other players than with Shaq.
I love Shaq's big-kid, laid back personality. And regardless of weight, he's always spent plenty of time in the weight room and remained stronger than the competition.
I read your justification for Kobe being MVP on the "Suns fans don't lose faith" thread.... I have also responded to it:

Tonight is a big night. I'm a bit disturbed by some of these Suns fans overconfidence. I'm not going to start worrying until the Suns lose at home, but their backs are against the wall. I am not positive we will dominate these two games at home. I sure hope we bring the series back to San Antonio tied 2-2...
Take care everyone, out

Wild Cats Fan .... Im not a Clevelend Fan just picked them ...
How am i biased... Because i said the Spurs Are the best team and will beat the Suns????Well They are the best team ( thats a fact) There the defending champions and every year they beat this suns team ... when they were good we beat them.. Now there slower and we are gonna take this in 4..
You can talk all you want your just like BBWOSH who told me the suns would win sereis and i responded with its gonna be 5 at max but prob 4 and he laughed at me... But not after tonights massacare it will be 3-0 spurs and i will be one step closer to hearing the talk about how the Hornets are gonna take us out... its all the same stuff ive heard it all and through everything you or any analysts says were just better.
Lakers-Hornets-Jazz-mavs-suns-Rockets all play as hard as they can all year .. the spurs sit back and sit there big boys ( none of them are in top 65 in mins played) and when the playoffs come around its always the same .. but people somehow always pick against them.... The lakers can beat them no one else can... I would bet my life on this series the suns just arent in the same league as the spurs

Hello again everyone...
Jefe,
I have posted a second response on the "Suns don't lose faith" thread in regards to Kobe Bryant for MVP... Read it at:
http://www.sportsline.com/mcc/messages/chrono/7947105/0/0/7998397#ID7998397
Just so everyone is aware... I never said the Suns would beat the Spurs. This idiotic, biased, ignorant, arrogant punk WHO CAN'T PASS AN ELEMENTARY ENGLISH CLASS known as "tribe716" loves to make up lies and throw his opinions around like they're facts. He'll try and tell you Tim Duncan is the second greatest player in the history of the NBA and he's too stupid and stubborn to have a debate with. Please, if anyone is interested in some entertaining reading, visit:

Big game tonight for the Suns... Hope they come out with a spark playing in Phoenix, as they should. Sad to hear Grant Hill has been ruled out.
Have a wonderful day all

Dbow-
I'd have to put a LOT of players before Timmy, even being a Spurs fan: Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Bob Cousy, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robinson, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West....
to name a few
Besides, his career isn't over, so Tim's "legacy" is something for the future.

That's cool Tak, I was just curious. I know some people that may extend the truth one way or another and sometimes we just make mistakes. I can't trust myself I usually try to stay away for the numbers thing. Someone is always waiting around to prove you wrong.
Good luck tonight.
