The Cowbys better hope there locker room or coaching staff can make Pac Man Jones change his ways. If they don't make this a priority, then Jones will only be on the field for a year if that long. This is one player that gets in trouble not once or twice but a dozen reports in what 3 years. I personally think he will be trouble until the day he leaves the NFL, but I could be wrong. I think this is going to be a move that blows up in the Cowboys face. But for you Cowboys fans lets only hope I am wrong or they don't rely on him to much.

Why any team would want to put up with this thug and his childish ways is beyond me.  There are plenty of players that are as good or better than him and they don't act like jerks off the field.  IMHO the guy needs to be in jail instead of a locker room for the things he does.  If it was once.......that's one thing, but when it happens several times there is something to look into.  Innocent until proven guilty, true.....but if you surround yourself with thugs and felons, you become the same.  PASS Dallas......just because TO is working out doesn't mean you are the "bad-boy" taming team of the NFL, you got lucky once, don't push it.

All I can say is that if Odell Thurman got suspended for 2 full years for some of his antics, then there's no way Goodell can in good conscience allow Pacman back into the league this season. If he does, he will be setting a dangerous precedent of inconsistency regarding player suspensions

The difference is TO is not a thug, a head case yes, but I don't think this guy is a bad person.  Jones on the other hand is a Class A thug and a-hole.  He could be wearing some gangs colors or a prison jumpsuit just as easily as a NFL uniform. He and guys like Travis Henry have no place in the game or society for that matter.  It's about time the NFL started policing itself.   Most other businesses do and it's time to look past the talent and what type of product the NFL wants to present.  Most of the players are good citizens and put their best foot forward.  Also, being young doesn't mean you have to be stupid.  Jerry Jones is the NFL's version of George Steinbrenner or an Al Davis wannabe.  Take your pick.

Evidently someone knows something more than us.  The Dallas Cowboys are a proud organization with a smart owner in Jerry Jones.  Now do you think he would allow a deal made with a guy that's suspended from the NFL and not know his status?  I don't think so. I believe alot of talk has happened behind the scenes and Pac Man Jones is going to have to walk the chalk line or else.

Good post smittstyles, however, I believe the Tennessee Titans wanted to dump Jones before the draft and evidently the Dallas Cowboys wanted him.  Even before he was reinstated.  Someone knows more than us.  The Titans got a 4th rounder?  And if Pacman Jones doesn't work out,  and I mean "not reinstated" the Cowboys pay the draft back? Come on !

This would be a great pick-up for the Boys.  Pacman is a shutdown corner.  DO you know he was never beaten for a touchdown in college at WV.  He is also a nasty returner.  The extracurriculars are easy.  You screw up and you're out at no cost to Dallas.  But if you can keep it clean, then we'll be talking Superbowl.

I am a bit worried about wide reciever though.  We should have gone after Bryant Johnson.  I don't think rookie wideouts perform all that well.  I would rather trade for a stud wide-out (not Chad Johnson).  We should just see if someone is willing to trade a true number 1 or 2 for some picks or players.  I wouldn't mind unloading Roy Williams and I think Hamlin is overrated too.

Pacman may be a nasty player, but that doesn't stop him from doing stupid crap, like throwing money to strippers and then demanding it all back and having one of his cronies go shoot up a bunch of people. Dumb move, Dallas. You might have someone to join Tank Johnson in the cuff club.

Proud Organization?.  This team has been thug heavy for years.  Michael Irvin, Erik Williams, Leon Lett, to name a few.  Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are the embodiment of arrogance   There are a lot of class players who are and have played for the Cowboys, but Jerry Jones is an egocentric jerk who has been snubbing his nose at the NFL and their policies for years.  As I posted earlier he's the NFL's version of George Steinbrenner. The NFL now has a comissioner with some balls and he is taking a tougher stance on the thug mentality that permeates the game.  The rules of society also apply to athletes.  The NFL talent pool won't suffer at all if a few more Pacman Jones' or Travis Henrys'  are banned from the game.

As a Cowboy fan, I love it. I still wear my Irvin jersey on game day. It's dry cleaned and ready for next year. I bought that jersey one week before the Irvin hit the fan...He's still a GREAT receiver and many of these suspended will be too.

Pacman embodies everything that is wrong with the NFL and pro sports in

general. If he didnt get 15M guaranteed and multiple chances, he would

be dead by now. Instead, he gets another year to behave himself and

another chance at a big signing bonus. Jerry Jones looks like an old

woman with his face lifts and is a disgrace to pro sports. I am sure

that JJ and Rev Al will be picketing when Pacman gets suspended again.

Every time i see Puke Man's name anywhere, I feel I need to be say something.

The Cowboys wlil have a short leash with Puke Man, and it will end up choking the thug. You can bet there will be jargon in his contract that will be heavy on staying trouble free. You knew Puke Man was going to get another chance, and I guess he deserves it. So, I think the Cowboys realized that and took a small chance with that fourth round draft choice at hitting gold. I can'tt condemn the move because they beat other teams to the punch or had the guts to pll it off. However, there is a good chance Puke Man will end up making Jimmy Boy and the whole cowboys organization look bad.

I have been against this move from the beginning.  This jacka** has been arrested six times since he came into the league.  I don't know about you, but I personally don't know anyone who has been arrested six times in their life, much less the last 2 or 3 years.  How many other millionaires have been arrested six times?

There is no changing PacMan.  He is the next Lawrence Phillips.  He doesn't learn from his past experiences.  That fourth round pick just might turn out to be a player Dallas could use, and at this point is a better gamble than someone whose only athletic competition in the last 18 months was a pro wrestling match.

I don't know Pacman Jones but I guess his record speaks for him... but.... I have to wonder if the Titans and his school have failed him on someways.

Here is what I do know about  Pacman.   He's young and foolish (we all were at one time).  He didn't finish his education.  He has/had more money than he knows what to do with.   He is surrounded by people who only want him for his money(entourage) or talent(coaches).   Though these facts don't excuse his behaviour but someone can certainly see  where is run ins with the law come from.    What the young man needed was a life coach not a posse of thugs or college coachs looking for a meal ticket.  Dallas could set this kid straight... if he has learned to ask for help.  Dallas, from what I understand has done well with reclaimation projects due to the work of the Calvin Hill (a former Cowboy RB and father of NBA Grant Hill). Calvin Hill is  head of Dallas' Player Assistance staff...one of the best in the NFL.  I wonder if the Titans or the Bengals have such a program.

You have to wonder what the hell went on at West Virgina when Pacaman was a student (if he ever was).  With Chris Henry at WV at the same time what kind of program were they running.  When Pacman and Henry were suspended did the NFL or NCAA ever look at the program that produced these guys.   I'm an Oklahoma fan...bu
