I believe it was Denvergregs or BJ, but I like the first two picks being a strong offensive move by getting Mendenhall in the 1st and OT Baker in the 2nd. Can you freaking believe how awesome that would be?
Now I would've been more down for getting Trevor Laws, but as of right now i'm not so worried since Robertson, a strong 4-3 DT, is now in our employ. I say we make a strong offensive move and shore that up so that our improved Dline can play from in front instead of behind.
I think Mendenhall/Baker might be my new dream picks.

raiderhater,
Even though I don't agree with drafting Mendenhall, there's no doubt he has all the physical tools to be a great back. I don't like Laws or Baker though, I think both of those guys would be mistakes. Laws is a high-effort guy who gets all he can out of his ability, but I think he's probably hit his celing already, and may be overmatched at the next level. Baker had injury problems in college and if we did take him, I think he'd have a hard time making any impact his rookie season. Alot of people seem to be pumped about Baker, but I just don't see it. I'd rather see Pat Sims or Dre Moore over Laws, and if we don't go OT in round 1 I think we'll wait until day 2 to address that position.
One lineman I do like maybe on day 2 is Mike Pollack from Arizona State. With Tom Nalen nearing the end of his Hall of Fame career, and our backup (Casey Wigeman) not much younger, I think they will draft a center in the later rounds to groom for the future. Can't wait for tomorrow, no matter what happens I'll be happy to welcome the new players to Broncos Country!

b4ever,
I respect your opinion, my bronco brother. I understand your worries over laws and baker. And I agree that if we don't take a tackle at 12 we might shift into the norm of drafting great OLinemen in the 4th and later.
Let's just say I, like you, can't wait for tomorrow. I can't wait to welcome the new batch of Broncos to the mile-high city! not too long now!

2 O'clock central, bud. I'm in Houston, I should know these things.
I think that Trevor Laws is the most overrated prospect in the draft and Sam Baker should not be a Bronco because he doesn't fit. His liabiity is durability, run blocking, and toughness.... Why would we want him, nice pass blocker with good feet, but still not a Bronco. I actually have our first pick being Jerod Mayo from Tennessee and our second being Chilo Rachal from USC. He's a great run blocker and has a killer instinct. All he has to do is become a better cut blocker to succeed in our system, and that should be easy for him. I still would love to have Mayo at 12 though, so much like Al Wilson and he fills a need with a franchise player.

Trano,
LB is wasted pick in the 1st. We already have re done our LB crop in the off season, and we have greater needs. PLUS next years crop coming out of college is a bumper one, so if we need help after this season then we go at it then.
I would like to see us go after Jordan Dizon in the later rounds, and I have a lot of faith that Niko is going to be good.
I will be REALLY disappointed if we take Mayo OR Rivers (and I am a USC fan) as I think there are other players that will help this team more.
Who knows with SHanny though!!!
Enjoy the draft man!

BJ...
WOW! There is another USC/Denver fan out there? nice to meet you...!
i'd LOVE to see BAKER on this team...he is a first round talent that will go in the 2nd ....i think we'll end up with either Clady or Wiliiams though, esp with the fact that it was Williams who blocked for Cutler in Vandy--there might be some extra incentive to go after him though---of course back then, Williams was an underclassman...
i'm expecting us to go OT with the first pack , and Mike prob hinted at going after an OT in the 2nd round in his recent interview as a smoke screen....
we have so many needs...LB, S, DE, WR, OL....i'm really worried about our D Line or lack thereof , even with the additon of Robertson...i hope we can find a steal at the DE position today or tomorrow as i'm not sure what to make about Moss/Thomas..
anyway...fight on !

Yeah SFV,
I dont know man...I dont htink he is bluffing this year. go to www.denverbroncos.com.for his whole intervieew. he says there is no reason to bluff because they are picking so high in the draft.
I hope Mendenhall, Baker, Eddie Royal, Jordan Dizon, Owen Schmitt, Jeremy Zuttah and Red Bryant...that would be a great job.
Go Broncos and go USC!
Enjoy the draft brother!
