Will the nfl players please stop hitting their wives. It makes me sick to know that someone would take out anger on a woman. Take out you anger on the football field. Players are to distracted with using thier wives as punching bags than playing the game. What's up with that?

Typical thug, wanna be with zero class! I don't remember anything being said stating this lady was his wife. Can't be sure, but maybe and probably the mother of his unborn child? He is soooo tough, I love all these tough guy thugs who have no respect for anything, if I saw him on the street, I would show him how tough he is, he would get a beat down!

If this person wants to hit, hit someone on the football field. Join the MMA fighting competition. Hitting someone who cant hit you back, who cant defend themselves, is what a coward and a bully does. He should be jailed for attempted murder. He doesnt deserve the cheers of fans and the millions of dollars of being a professional football player. Suspend him right now.

Funny thing is that this could be even worse...it doesn't say anything about it being his wife. It just says a pregnant woman.

the worst part: below is a quote from the Lions webpage regarding the preggo beater.
--Defensive coordinator Joe Barry raves about safety Kalvin Pearson.
"We've inserted a stud into our locker room," Barry said. "Sometimes the character and the type of guy and the type of worker a person is gets overlooked because, 'Oh, man, he's a really, really good player.' Well, this kid's a really, really good player, and he's an A-plus character, and he's an A-plus guy in the locker room. I think we hit a home run with Kalvin Pearson."
Special teams coordinator Stan Kwan expects a lot from Pearson.
"I envision him being the leader of our special teams," Kwan said. "He's a smart player. He's energetic on the field. But the one thing he does that stands out is, he makes plays."
end quotes. please fire millen and to the NFL, please remove the ford family from being an NFL ownership. then we may be able to actually not be a joke.

A news story in the Tampa TImes has a little more detail on this ...
TAMPA — Ex-Bucs safety Kalvin Pearson was held without bond in jail Saturday after an arrest on domestic violence charges, including the alleged strangulation of a woman pregnant with his child, according to Hillsborough County jail records.
Pearson, 29, spent three years with the Bucs before signing a three-year, $3.5-million deal with the Lions last month. He was booked at 7:48 a.m. Saturday at Orient Road Jail, facing two felonies, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and domestic battery by strangulation, and a misdemeanor, obstructing or opposing an officer without violence.
According to the arrest affidavit, the unidentified victim was in a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer when she was grabbed by her hair and neck by Pearson, who began to choke her. The victim had red marks and bruising all around her neck, the report said. The report said that after struggling with the woman, Pearson fled the scene before getting apprehended.
The woman is pregnant with Pearson's child and he had knowledge of the pregnancy at the time of the incident, according to the report.
Pearson's agent, Michael Hawthorne, declined to comment. He was vague on if Pearson and the woman were still in a relationship, saying, "They've never been together as far as we know."
There was a $500 bond set for the obstructing without violence charge but no bond set for the other two charges.

The coward should be cut imediatley and spend a long time behind bars. He can hit as many people as he wants to there, of course they will be able to hit back. How tough will he be then?
