lol, no it didn't, but it is pretty suprising for a Laker fan to actually admit that. When the Spurs/Lakers rivalry was at its height I always respected the Lakers organization and fans because it was a friendly rivalry. But, generally neither side would admit it.
I think a Spurs/Lakers WCF would be awesome, though I would think even the Lakers would not want to face the Spurs team that showed up last night.
Wow, Denver really has no answer for the Lakers.

Big ups to the San Antonio Spurs yall are spankin us. I love the Suns have for years but its getting so old seein them be almost good enough. Alas I'm also a Buffalo Bills fan and I aint dumpin them either sooo. Any way we obviously arent nearly as good as I thought we were. At least I can feel better that Detroit is struggling and the Hornets are easy to root for.

Afterall didn't the Bulls do the same with Cartwright and Longly in the middle.
They were Centers. More to the point, they were rebounding machines with 6 fouls to give and a decent baseline jumper. They were also ignored on the offensive end and therefore have nothing to do with our conversation about Tim Duncan, a Power Forward who cannot be ignored on either end of the floor.
I encourage you to accept, number one, Duncan's mastery of his position, number two, Duncan's mastery of the team concept and, as a result, bite the bullet.
Timmy is the Power Forward.
The defense rests.

You see this is what I hate.. If Your a real Basketball fan and your gonna come on here and bash Tim Duncan Than your not a basketball fan.. Dont get me wrong I think kobe and lebron are more flashy and that what a not nba fan wants but when it comes down to it you cant even put lebron in duncan's class for now... kobe you can but with defense and everything else duncan is better for now.
Beachgirl.. Dont post anymore on here Please... because if you think it is so outrageous that duncan IS one of the best players ever than you have no knowledge of this game.
Has For jjwosh you made a good point but i agree with you we dont digress, If we win couple of more rings we will be one of the best of all time and thats what everyone wants even duncan and thats what makes him so great b/c all he wants to do is win a ring he never complains about not winning more mvps even though if he got hurt his team would suffer the most and thats what valueable means..
Im not thinking ducan is one of the greatest of all time.. Im simply stateing a fact.
His class and respect for this game Is unsurpassed his abillity to breakdown even the best of defenders is unreal and his abillty to feed the three point shot and set the pic and roll is unreal. he does everything the right way and never is in the media for anything. is his great.
Jordan-Kareem-Duncan-Bird-Russel
Remember Duncan is one of the best defenders ever and with just two more rings will have match jordans output.. he has carried a dynasty and every dynasty needs at least one legend and he is. he will always be remembered for his class and abillity.

Duncan is one of the best ever, no one can dispute that. We all have our personal favorites, but with another ring I don't see how you could say he is not the greatest PF of all time, if he is not already.

A voice that I surely miss hearing on the radio would say .......
This series' in the refrigerator: the door is closed, the lights are out,
the eggs are cooling,
the butter's getting hard,
and the Jell-O's jigglin'!

TZ, it's funny you should say that - I couldn't help but thinking that if Chick were alive and he were, for some reason, calling that Spurs/Suns game 3 last night, he would've put that game in the refrigerator at the end of the 3rd quarter.
