Ok, yes we needed a WR but with 3 picks in the second round we take 2WR's and a pass catching TE?  Has management forgot that out youngest player on the OL is Samuels at 31?  How about our DL?  Are we going to be able to rush the QB with most of our players using crutches to get there?  Not to metion that we already have a so-so blocker and a pro bowl pass catching TE in Chris Cooley!  Ugg!  Seriously can anyone make any decent arguement for how we drafted?

I was excited about the trade and the extra picks in the 2nd and even after drafting Thomas and was OK with Fred Thomas but why in the name of Matt Millen would we draft 2 WR's in the second round when we have needs for youth along both lines.... I guess I'll never be as smart as the Danny...

Hwy draft a TE that can not block. You know Dan is making these picks.

I guess we should have known that with all the picks we have that Danny and the boys would screw it up since they have so little experience in the draft ...

We start out with a 1st round pick and a total of 9 picks. Trade down to the 2nd round and still only have 9 picks. WE GOT WORKED!

OK, i will make a slight arguement in favor of the day.  Take a look at our corps or WR last year.  Moss is a legit #2 WR and too often injured, not a #1, EL is nothing more than a #3 if not a #4 WR and a return man.  When we are looking at early to mid 2nd round picks and there are 2 dynamite WRs still on the board why the hell would we not take them?  That would be the same if we drafted Brohm in that area as well.  STUD still on the board.  Yes, we need DL and OL but I agree that would can get that in the 3rd and 4th round.

Devin was projected a mid 1st rounder and Malcolm was a mid to high 1st rounder and we got them both this is cause for some celebration.

OK, maybe I could question the TE draft but hell we are so weak in corps that can catch a ball besides Cooley that I'm for the 3 picks thus far.

Time will tell.  Let's bring back the Old Posse, we need  2-3 talented WR on the field at all times.  Our D is not THAT bad to stress

Go Skins'

I wouldn't jump to the Matt Millen comparisons just yet. Millen has been known to draft guys with character issues who are relatively unproven in the grand scheme of things. Thomans, Kelly and Davis were all productive in college and have no off the field problems. Sure it seems like a waste taking 2 WRs in one round with other needs, but as it was mentioned, Kelly and Thomas were ranked as 1st rounders on a lot of boards, which leads me to second the celebration of Posse87.

The Fred Davis pick makes SOME sense, because behind Cooley what is there at TE? And if you think about it, these picks could make for some interesting sets. Moss and Kelly or Thomas on the outside with Cooley in the slot and Thomas lined up at FB with Sellers lined up at RB... That's a little scary even though its not likely....

Yeah I guess Pothead Kelly doesnt have any character issues..........he also never blames his former University for his slow 40 yard dash

Yea, horrible mistake getting him, we shouldve been like the iggles and picked up a respectable and humble receiver who doesn't destroy the team, or smile after his team lost in the Superbowl (after all he had a good game)
