congrats on the victory i would hope that the Celtics get this wakeup call horraford taunting pierce at the end was both ill-advised and classless
pierce will go off
(provided that the officials treat this game like an nba game and not some panzy middle school game.
im not saying the callls were bias one way or the other their were plenty of blown calls
one of the officials called a foul on James Posey when it should have been on > >> > and as the ref went to the scorers table to call the foul on the celtics as she was about to hand the ball to the celtics for the inbound.
and will the Hawks PLEASE FIX THE SHOT CLOCK who ever is the technical manager of that stadium must be embaressed and frankly the lengthy delay seemed to have a dramatic effect on the game as Paul Pierce was almost asleep befor the secound have finally began

I don't want to hear any Celtics fans saying anything about Horford "taunting" Pierce. This is the same Celtics team in which Sam Cassell, in one of the last games of the season, got hot against the Hawks and on multiple occassions was doing crotch chops and simulating jiggling his balls many times to show what "big balls" he had because he made big shots. The Celtics, or at least Sam Cassell, is the classless piece of trash that brought on any trash talking that is happening in this series.

Wow, cudos to the Hawks, they took out all their frustration on the Celtics and raped them in Game 3. However, as much as I dislike the Boston Celtics, Al Horford showed no class whatsoever. I've liked Horford from the day he was drafted because he plays hard, but what he did when Pierce was down just shows how immature he still is. He better be ready in Game 4, cuz Pierce is gonna blow up and dominate with a vengeance

Horford showed no class what so ever. Theres a difference between getting pumped up yourself, pumping up the crowd, pumping up your teammates, this is the case for Pierce, KG, and Allen. Whereas Al Horford went to a veteran player who had tripped over an illegal screen and taunted him. He should've been T'ed up and I was pissed the referees missed it. Horford made a terrible mistake as all of you are saying Pierce will wake up and go off, but it won't just be him. It will be KG, Allen, Posey, House, Rondo, because the Celtics play as a team and when they mess with one guy the team backs them up. Watch out for a huge blowout in the 4th game. They shouldn't have awakened the beast that is KG and the Celtics.

I'm not sure if KG and the Celtics will wake up in game 4. More than likely they'll still be sleeping, trying to recuperate from the rundown that the Hawks gave them tonight. KG looked tired by the middle of the 4th quarter. I think Horford's energetic and hustle play is giving him a run for his money. Joe Smith's play today was simply unstoppable. The Celtics looked very lost at times during the second half. They were popping up jump shots and settling for bad looks. If the Hawks shoot behind the arc like they did tonight in Game 4, they can very much tie the series.
And I have to give props to Horford for that taunting tonight. He's got balls to be jawing at Pierce like that. This guy is good. Averaging a double-double in your first playoff series while playing out of your position isn't something you expect a rookie to be able to do, yet Horford is doing exactly that. I think that he deserved to get the ROY over Durant. That being said, I think he'll play at the same level the next game, and come up with a double-double again.

Bears_06,
I have to respectfully disagree. The Celtics will show up to play, and are going to treat Game 4 as if they were in an elimination game.
Don't forget, the Celtics had the best record in the NBA on back-to-back games. Which means that they don't get tired after one game, and it doesn't carry over the next night. With a day off in between games, you can bet they won't feel any ill effects from losing this one.
I had the Celtics winning this series in 6 games before it started. I did not predict a sweep like most people did. The Hawks are too athletic and talented. I'm happy for the Hawks and their fans that they are making it a series, and showed up to play on their home court.
Now I just wish the Nuggets and Suns would've showed up to play in their respective series.
I said this in another post and I'll say it again. Rodney Rodgers and Tony Delk wasn't worth it... I'd rather see Joe Johnson still wearing the Green. And I'd trade our next 3 first-round picks to have Josh Smith on our team.
I'll wait to say anything about Horford and his trash talking... I'm watching the replay right now, and the game is just about to start. I'll comment later if I feel like I should.
Good luck in Game 4 to the Hawks.
