In the next round, we will probably get a shot at either caldwell or woodson. I'd take caldwell because we don't need a qb this year and we should get one in the next two years. Tebow or Stafford? I actaully am thinking that caldwell could slip because of playing in a "florida system". I'm less upset with not picking caldwell as i am with picking an O-lineman. I played o-lineman in HS before tearing my ACL. I played tackle until i tore my knee, then they moved me to guard. Guard is not hard to play!!!!!!! Maybe we'll trade zutah and some pick next year for Lito Shepard. HAHA. wishful thinking

caldwell is gone, along with my patience with the team, and my interest in the draft.

Completely agree with U, those days of being a Super Bowl contender are way gone.

You guys cry too much.

Waaaaa!

We need OL and DL depth... we are getting it.  So what's the problem???

OL and DL picks are never sexy picks like WR.  Hell, WR's didn't even get picked in all of round one but the experts said that 4 of the would be taken.  You know why??? Because teams were drafting lineman left and right.  Look at our drafts the past few years on the line.  Great additions.  I'd rather have OL/DL depth than depth anywhere else on the field.  Some of you guys want a freakin FB drafted in round 4 or 5?  insane.

You can't go wrong by adding depth across the line... the game is won in the trenches.

All in all, the draft is shaping up about how I expected, except with different players.

I think Talib's good, and he'll be brought in slowly. I bet he's a nickel at first.

Jackson? I think a bit of a reach in the 2nd round, but WRs were flying off the board- they had to pull the trigger on one of their guys fast.

I LOVE Zuttah in the 3rd.This guy can fill in on any line position and help with the rotation.

Dre Moore? Why the hell not? I think he was projected in the 2nd! No injury problems. I'm good with it.

The more they trade down, the more I think Josh Johnson's getting picked in 6-7.

Whenever there's a run on positions, 5th-rounders become 2nds in about 6 picks.

Oh, and all you Dennis Dixon fans can be assured he'll get his rest. Pittsburgh took him.

I think these teams get bored and just start trading 2nd day picks because its just easy to do and kind of fun.

I mean seriously.  I bet the phone calls go like this... "Hey Jon, I'll swap you my 5th with your 5th, AND give you a 7th, BUT only if you trade 6th's with me too." Bellicheat bids.

"Hell, it's Sunday afternoon, TBO.com has been giving me a hard time about having only 5 draft picks, so okay, this way i have all 7 draft picks." Allen replies.

"But wait, aren't 2 5th's better than a 6th and a 7th?" says Gruden?

"Ha ha ha, it's all about perception from the media.  They only care about how many picks we have, not the overall strength." Laughs Allen. "Now our trades for Bennent,  Plummer and Griese can not be questioned NO LONGER!!! HA HA HA HA..."

Yep.  You deserve that one.

When I saw the name come up I said, "Man, that EvelTheGreat" must be a mind reader!"

BTW, did you win the lotto by chance?

I read Johnson's bio and I mean... 45 TD's and ONLY 1 INT... he ran for 670 yds and runs a 4.55.  He is also 6'3" 215 lbs... nice project.

Why don't you pick another team.  The Bucs don't need fans like you!  Punk ass.

No, but I might play it soon!

I know this team. I've watched Gruden too long. He doesn't like ANY of his QBs past Garcia. Griese's only there for insurance, and McCown doesn't snap the ball out.

Josh Johnson is the perfect west coast QB.

The funny thing is, I think based on my picks in PR's contest, I may have a good shot at winning. I had Jackson, Moore and Johnson so far.
