Fellas input your grade on this years draft... I know its not over yet but its time to start talking about how we feel this draft scored...
After round two, Avery I felt a little cheated, but have given it some thought overnight and really it isn't that bad of a pick... But we could have done better with that pick IMHO... But thats just me...
My grade to this point is a solid B, and could be B+ or even a low A depending on what they do with those two 7th round picks...
We drafted good players with good character and all seem to be relatively injury free... And we needed to fill those positions with guys that can play and play a full 16 game schedule...
Good job Rams..

We filled the biggest need in Chris Long, added a deep play threat and return threat in Avery, added some OL depth in 2 picks, a quck CB in King, and another WR in Burton. Can't complain. I give it no less than a B.

I'd give it a solid B as it stands right now. They have done a good job at filling team needs while adding playmakers.

I'd give it a B as well. I would have like to see them address the LB depth with the 3rd or 4th pick though.

I would also give the Rams a B. They have made no outlandish selections (some may argue Avery, but I disagree), just a bunch of solid players. Perhaps the main complaint would be that, outside of Long, this is a group that likely won't make much impact in 2008, but at least a couple figure to be major contributors by 2009, perhaps three or four of them.
Let's just grab the best two athletes on the board with our last two picks and get everybody signed prior to training camp.

Sorry all, I have to disagree. I give us a C-. We should of taking Dorsey over L. I know Dorsey was the risker pick, but he has more raw talent than Long, and I think would fit our style better. As for Avery.....don't get e started he was taken way to early. I like most of the other picks othersise I would give us a D- or F. SORRY ALL...
Go Rams

D-
The only reason it isn't an F is because of Long. This draft is a joke. We will have some of the worst grades by all the analysts.
Plus, we will have one of the worst teams again. This is really sad and depresses me.

I would give them a C+ so far they stillhave to picks to go. I would have given them a B if we would address the D-fense alittle more. We need a LB, Safty and paly maker on that side of the ball.
I still think they should have grabed a RB in this Draft it was so deep and we could use another young stud to build with. Jackson has one more year under contract two if we francise him next year. I hope he wants to stay or we might have missed our chance for a good one.

I totally disagree Dark Empire (No offense), this team addressed needs and got players of good character that are gamers... No injury issues, no BS... I think this is the best draft for this team since the move from LA...
As I said a couple weeks ago, the Rams weren't a team that needed to rebuild they just needed healthy players... And they got that... And on the way got a future HOF'er (C. Long) and alot of good talent after that...
Mark my words, I don't care what the pundits say... This is a good draft for this team... And i've never said that before today...

I give it an A, we filled 3 major needs, DL, WR, OL, all w/quality player who will be starters, Greco was a steal in the 3rd, on the radio they said Devany should be arrested for stealing that pick and I tend to agree.
