Michael Vick and the Kansas City T-Bones.

In May, the Kansas City T-Bones, an independent professional league baseball team in the Northern League,  will have a "Michael Vick: Welcome to the Neighborhood Night".  With Vick now residing just 45 miles up the road in Leavenworth they thought it'd be appropriate. The Home team will wear black and white striped prison jerseys and the Visitors will wear bright orange jumpsuit replica jerseys. The ballpark will be decorated with a prison theme.  The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game and proceeds from the game will be donated to several Kansas City Area Humane Societys and animal shelters.

Markstaff.....great news re the event that will help animals....and using vile vick for such a good cause helps society remember about the evil vick represents.  Appreciate your posting this thread. 

Yea for Kansas!.....they are taking a lemon and making lemonade and selling the lemonade!.....it cannot possibly make up for the heinous suffering those animals were forced to experience but at least it is a positive to honor the animals and help other animals!

When researching "Kansas T-Bones + mike vick" the newspaper article explained that the event was cancelled (one of my fav's had told me re this happening) because those who opposed it considered it "racially insensitive".

Yet another prime example of how this country is shooting itself in the (you can fill in the blank with a term of your own choosing) _______________!  Those innocent canines vick brutally killed are dead and they did not die because of his ethic background......they died because he is evil enough to have brutalized them.....evil has absolutely nothing to do with skin color or the culture of the killer!

That reason re "racially insensitive" is so absurdly ignorant it does not even border on insanity but rather it is "insanity".  It is way past time that torn and tattered race card only be played when it is a reality.....not an excuse!

Shame on the Kansas T-Bones for folding because of a killer's supporters.....it is a shame for our country that those supporters lack a moral high ground......guess it is far easier  for some to just give into evil rather than having the courage and mental capability to fight against it!

My opinion is that you have to much time on your hand and to imply that individual be mauled by a dog is very insenstive and two wrong don't make a right would you like some one to tie a t-bone around your neck it the same as the roman using Christian

for sport and putting them in arena with Lions to be killed because of there belief  i hope that God will cause his face to shine upon you and open your blind eyes, and give you a  heart of flesh and move your heart of stone. May God will be done.
