Just shut up atlanta, you have accomplished nothing, your still gonna lose this series in 6 games and no one will remember you were even in the playoffs this year. Boston Detroit east final. Amazing how all of a sudden there are Hawk fans everywhere on the message boards, they figured out a way to get that paper bag off their head. Here's a tip Atlanta, don't throw the paper bags away, they will come in handy real soon.

Nothing. Regular season records mean zilch when playoffs start. Right now you're 2-2, same record as Atlanta. Boston is just like Washington, just not a playoff team. Even if you win in 6, should've never gone that far.
But asking ATL what they accomplished when YOU guys have accomplished nothing is a joke. Do something before you try to talk like you have.

From what I've been hearing the past week is that we would lose it in four games ;) Looks like there are at least two more to play.

There is no way this series go 6 games in the Celtics favor Hawks will take it in 6!!!!!
K.G. and Perkins are going to both get suspended for the next game so the Hawks will win game 5 and game 6 is back in the A where the Hawks dominated the CELTICS TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point in the season, the Celtics and the Hawks have accomplished the same two things:
1) reached the first round of the playoffs
2) Won their first two home games in the series
So, until the Celtics make some real noise in the playoffs, they haven't done anything either.

I am just lmao reading this post. I know this isn't true about all broad-minded Bostonian sports fans, but why are there so many others that are now emerging everywhere on the message boards acting like a - holes, and that they are somehow "entitled" to win, and if they fail, then there is something wrong with the other teams fans and the whole entire world outside of their little city? And I just read the rudest sports column in the Boston Globe slamming the fans of the 10 year old Rays franchise just because the fans are so happy and estatic with the young Rays enjoying a record of 3 games over 500 at the end of April - he called it "pathetic" and "lame" - all this coming from a sports writer who covers a team that is over 100 years old, has a payroll that has bloated to be $90,000,000 more than the Rays, and which has failed to win any world series for 86 years. He sounded like some aging bully wanting to pound on the new kid on the block, just because of his insecurities.
I am a Magic fan, but am spellbound by the way the Hawks are shooting, manuevering and blocking. The Hawks are young and dynamic, and they are not backing down to intimidating tactics, including gang threatening hand signs. The Hawks are taking it to the floor and playing their game. My hats are off to the Hawks - I guess you'd think I'm emerging as a remote Hawk's fan... not necessarily - I'm a Magic fan, but I like to give respect and credit to where it's due.
And about those paper bags... I hope Hawks fans remembered to recycle this past weekend by giving them to those in desparate need: the heads of the Celts fans.

it's amazing to me how Celtic fans now think the world owes them because they are Celtic fans. Look, I am going to be real here, the Celtics have done squat. Atlanta fans have every tighht to be proud of their team cause after all NOBODY picked Atlanta to tie the series after 4 games, probably not even Hawk fans. As far as the Celtics go, they have to earn this championship. And even with that, it's going to be very difficult. The Celtics had a tough time against Orlando and Cleveland, tying both teams in the regular season, so nothing is a guarentee. My advice is to enjoy this postseason run and expect anything and everything.

Boston fans are a$$holes.
It doesn't matter what sport. I love that a Celtics fan is calling a Hawks fan a bandwagoner. Before this year I didn't see any Boston fans in Utah and after a few games the hats and jerseys were multiplying faster than Kevin Federline's children or is DMAC children I can't remember.
I would love to see the Hawks pull the upset. Just like in the NFL the only thing that matters is the Championship and the Celtics haven't won one of those in a few decades.
The Hawks have some of the best young athletes in the game and are only going to get better in the future. Even if they lose the next 2 games they put up a great fight even though nobody(myself included) gave them a chance.
On a side note Go Jazz.

the Boston fans that are a$$holes are the ones that are card carrying members of the Red Sox Nation, a fabrication if I ever saw one. The true Boston fans, not the bandwagon fans are good. But I cannot imagine how or why any Celtic fan would tell any Atlanta fan to shut up other than they are just mad cause this series has lasted longer than they wished. But you're right, the Hawks have a very young and very talented team, they are fun to watch.
