Well, 25 games in and already the Brewers have a big series right here. I'll go out on a limb and call a sweep by the Brew Crew, starting with a Sheets victory tonight. The bats will finally wake up and help their beleagured bullpen out. Yeah, it's a long season, but the Suds boys need the wins now to help bolster their confidence.

Then again, I have been wrong before....   :-))

It's not likely, but it's certainly possible.  As long as Sheets stays in the game, I don't see the Brewers letting tonight's match get away.  The Brewers couldn't figure Dempster out opening week and Zambrano is Zambrano.  We're likely to see 3 very well pitched games that could all easily go one way or the other.

The odds of the Brewers sweeping the Cubs are about the same as the Cubs sweeping the Brewers.

GO BREWERS!!

Very optomistic, but I like it.

A series sweep would be great, but I would settle for a series win.

The important thing is that the Crew can start winning series.  If they start popping 2 out of 3, and can continue doing that, they will be in excellent shape towards the middle and end of the season.

1/3 of the way to a sweep.  Suppan against Dempster tonight. It's time for the Dumpster to come back to earth.

Well, so much for that prediction, the Brew Crew is getting lit up tonight. Giving up 20 runs (maybe more) in 2 games is not a good showing for this club, no matter how you dice it.

Hope they can salvage game 3, at least take the series.

That's 26 runs in 17 innings for the Cubs batters. Unbelievable. If their pitching remains solid, they are going to be tough to keep pace with over the course of the season.

Zambrano is going to be pumped up for the rubber match. Can Gallardo keep the Crew in the game?

After these first 2 games, it wouldn't surprise me to see a 3-1 game Thursday. That's baseball for ya.
