First he makes this retarded call where he says Lincecum balked after Darling called time. Now he denies calling time and says that Lincecum stopped before Molina called time. Is he serious? Are umpires really that blind now? Molina called time, Darling called time, then Lincecum stepped off the rubber. It was only like 62 feet away. Unfortunate for Lincecum. Hopefully his next game this will be motivation.

GO Giants!

Just wondering.......cause I understand you rexplanation well.........but, did you see this

or are you interpreting what occurred from reading about it?

if what you are saying is what you saw and it was clear then the umpire should

be called on the carpet plus he lied to cover his a__.

Most umpires would not be that stupid........though CYA is a known

commodity in EVERY profession.

Interesting.

I saw it.  The pitcher was just starting his windup when Molina threw up his arms to call time.  Then the ump threw up his arms almost immediately to signal timeout and the pitcher broke off his windup.  It was all bang, bang, bang ... but that's the order it went in.  After the pitcher broke off his windup, the ump went from having his arms up in the air to yelling, "That's a balk" and pointing at the runner at third.

It was pretty clear that the pitcher hadn't broken his windup before the catcher called timeout.  The pitcher and the ump acted at almost the same time, but the ump clearly called timeout before he called balk.

I was watching the game as it happened. He probably knew he was wrong and that is why he waited to throw Bochy out because arguing balks is automatic ejection. Or maybe he just doesn't know all the rules. Just venting right now as a Giants fan.
