What are our odds of our ping pong ball or one of them making it into the Top pick?  And for arguement sake say that the basketball gods decide to make it bounce our way.  Who do we pick?

With all due respect to the other reply to your post, we do not need a 3-point shooting guard on this team. Let's get a ping-pong ball in the 6-8 range and draft a 6'9"+ space eater that can shoot with is back to the basket and can rebound. I think we are fine for one more season with Davis at point, but we do need to get some solid back-up guards. Except for Belinelli and Azubuke, I would like to a point guard, maybe an Arizona Wildcat could be got. Time to let Pietrus go, and wave good-by to Croshere and O'Bryant also. Nelson's running style may limit the beef of a player he would want.

We could always hope to get put in a different conference next year so our record would count for something.

What do you ythink of Kevin love?  He will likely be where our draft position ends up.  He is mroe of a beefy power forward that I think we lack..I think a backup point gaurd can be picked up in the second round and I like CJ Watson as a backup as well..I think we will only have Baron for one more year...

"All you need is Love", everybody! NOT! Let him go to Utah or the Clippersor even the Timberwolves. I don't care for his make-up. I'll take either one of the Lopez brothers over Love. With Don Nelson's up and down the court style, I would like to see sonone who can move and maybe even play defense. If Brandon Wright develops his jump-hook better, we could get a smart point guard, as I do not care for Watson. Look no further than Arizona for what we need.

I think the best thing to do would be to trade the pick for an established defensive/rebounding power forward or center. It would have to be a shrewd move contractually but it would be the best move. Kevin Love is a good player but won't excel in the Warriors style of play. He was exposed as a half-court player in the Memphis loss. He is better suited for a slower paced team. The rest of the top-tier players are scorers which will look nice on TV but will not help us win.

If we miraculously land #1 (or 2 or 3 for that matter), TRADE THE PICK!

IMO we should have kept Jason Richardson. There is speculation of steam between the head coach and Baron and if there is any truth to that, we could have moved Monta Ellis to point and keep J-Rich at the SG spot.

As far as the draft, I think we should get a big guy ala Amare Stoudemire.

Well as luck would have it, we had none!

I think I saw the NBA officials trying to get our ping pong ball unstuck, as if it were being held in place by glue or a magnet. Look on the bright side, we should not have to pay a whole bunch of money to whomever we draft. I say let's trade the #14 pick to move down and get a no name European player that Don Nelson is always so inclined to pick anyway.

I'm sure we can get some point guard of the future in the second round.
