Tim Lincecum (SP) No need to say much about him, he IS our best starting pitcher right now. He's got the stuff to be one of the best in MLB.

Matt Cain (SP) Already a starter for a few years, he's a stud. Together with Lincecum they're our best young pitchers.

Kevin Correia (SP) has been around for a couple seasons already, he looks good but need more confidence in his game, I think he will be a quality pitcher for years to come.

Jonathan Sanchez (SP) A good prospect that still hasn't reaches his potential. A solid game in his last start. Hopefully he becomes as good as Cain and Lincecum.

Brian Wilson (RP) Haven't seen him play yet, he has a couple of saves and a blown save. Hopefully he can become the closer for the future.

Fred Lewis (OF) I think he's a star in the making. I liked him last year and this year he's looking pretty good so far.

Rajai Davis (OF) Liked him last year also, but with Rowand his playing time is going to be minimum.

John Bowker (OF) Homered in his first MLB game. Haven't seen him play but it's always nice when a young player makes the best of his chance to play in the big leagues.

Brian Bocock (SS) Can't say much i haven't seen him play yet. low Avg. so far.

Daniel Ortmeier (1B) Low Avg. so far also, haven't seen much of him.

Eugenio Velez (2B) Haven't seen him play this year, can't really say much about him.

Jose Castillo (3B) A solid good young player, looks like he has a future with our gmen.

---------

All in all i'm glad all thse guys are getting good playing time, with all the old players that we've had the last 2 seasons, it's a breath of fresh air to see them play and do good.

Aside from Cain and Lincecum, i think Lewis has the brighest future. Bowker so far is looking good also.. hopefully he can keep it up. Hopefully some of you can provide some more insight on all thse players and if i missed one please let me know!

We hace a not so distant future to look foward to. Go Giants!!

All I have to say is Bocock is horrible, you must have no depth at SS in your system. He hit .220 in upper A ball last season. He has struck out almost half his at bats this season. It's pretty sad this guy is getting at bats. Honestly there has to be a vet out they who is a free agent you all could have signed who can play ten times better than him.

Bocock was supposed to be great with the glove too and he's made a handful of defensive mistakes already. We also called up Emanuel Burriss who posted pretty poor stats in high A and pretty underwhelming stuff this year in AAA.

you cant rip Bococ, he got thrown up here after just single A ball, not fair at all to rip him.  We dont need another older veteran with Vizquel on the mend..Burriss is probably the future.

Castillo is not a long-term solution.  We need to upgrade at third badly for next season..I am hoping a Garret Atkins is available via free agency.

Schierhoz shoudl be up here now...

Merkin Valdez has also been solid for us this season.

As for Bocock, he definitely does not belong in the majors just yet...
