In a couple of years we would be in the same position we are now -or worse.  We need to find a good young running back that can be developed behind Lewis and be ready to take over in the next year or so.

I heard today that Alexander is visiting the Bengals in the coming days.  This story comes with a twist however.  Its more at his request than at the Bengals.  The theory being that the word of his visit will bring on such public support that it will make their front office more willing to sign him or possibly generate interest from someone else who doesnt want to be undercut by the other brown team.  IMO Alexander in his prime was a good rb, who was still soft and was a product of his amazing OL.  When the OL started to go away 2 years ago he got hit more and couldnt handle it.  The man doesnt play with a whole lot of heart and suffers from an overinflated ego due to his record breaking season.  I dont think he can do much anywhere.  Maybe to a team that is decimated at RB, however, no team will want to pay him what he wants to be paid.
