	Well, Bush HAS to step up now. My question is why did he insist on telling everyone he was fine if he wasn't - must've have learned from Capuano and not Sheets.

	Oh man, this really stinks. I was so upbeat after reading how good he felt after the game. This really will make winning the Division very difficult. Now if Sheets goes down again Crew will have a very VERY thin pitching staff. The starters now will have to stay healthy and start going deeper into the game asap. Maybe Melvin can find some help that won't cost team and arm and a leg in future talent.

	Wait till next year. Not necessarily. Maybe Bush has the same wake up call that Weeks did last year - at least we can hope. Every time we get a young pitcher that's really good something stupid has to happen - Higuera, Nieves, Eldred, Bones, Neugebauer, Kyle Peterson, Sheets, Mark Rogers, Jeremy Jeffress, etc., etc.,. Gallardo (just like Capuano last year) should've said something, though. It does absolutely no good to try to pitch through it.

	I really think the crew is cursed they can't keep any stud pitcher healthy. Sheets has never played a full season that I remember & now Gallardo was on his game and is out for the second time this year. My only hope is that they can by some miracle make the playoffs & then Gallardo will be able to come back.

	As someone who's suffered a torn MCL (sure, not the same and not quite as serious as ACL), when I saw that injury yesterday I knew it was serious. The balls on that guy to go out there and pitch through the pain are huge. However, as noted, it was a stupid move. My heart really goes out to him, though. The kid is great, and all he wants to do is play. I'll be praying for a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him at 100% next season for the whole year. Let's just hope Dave Bush gets it together.

	Looks like I was right on the money yesterday when I said that Regardless of how Gallardo said he felt, he should have never been allowed to stay in the game The fact he couldn't follow through on ANY of his offspeed stuff should have tipped Yost off that something was wrong. The fact he couldn't field that bunt in the 6th should have done the same.

	This is really sad news. Aside from the obvious hit to pitching, I hate seeing players go down in general. It's a part of the game, but from what you all are saying, this seems like something that could have been avoided or mitigated somehow. Is he shelved for the season, then? What's the timetable for an injury like this to a pitcher?

	GoPackGo- That doens't even matter that they kept him in their. He tore his ACL when the play occured. What is it better to have him out 15 minutes earlier, and find out he had a torn ACL.
