I love how the Bills suck and the Jets and Dolphins will both be better. Yet both teams that lost twice to the Bills last year. Neither team has a better QB, WR or RB than the Bills. Bills also have to two pro-bowl Defensive linemen in Stroud and Schobel.
Seven of nine losses came to playoff teams. Did either of you play that many play-off teams?
Dolphins and Jets fans one question. What real information do you have to make a claim you will be any better?

probably that this was the rebuilding year and the bills have been in rebuilding for the past 5 years lol. after bledsoe and moulds left, you guys were screwed. losman and this new QB they have is going to take you nowhere, its gonna be a mediocre year again for the bills, and i will laugh.

Fantastic, another guy with no facts and jumps on a rookie QB that went 5-5 and had Dallas beat on Monday night. Also did not answer the question about Jets and Dolphins.

Dude,
Buffalo never keeps their good players. Their cheap ass owner refuses to pay for the top dollar players and he loses great players. It's a shame because Buffalo has some of the best fans in the NFL.

I'll bite, EJR. We're both operating on best-case-scenarios. Kellen Clemens has started half a season behind a horrible offensive line, and that's what he has been judged on. The line is different, which means there should be a running game too: Thomas Jones, as much as he's been criticised lately, still managed over 1000 yards behind a line that could not block for him. And Leon Washington is a good play-making change of pace. Everything for the Jets' offense will depend on how the O-line plays, but there is not doubt that left side has a heap of potential.
Moreover, I'm betting the change of scenery motivates Jenkins to keep his weight down and work harder. If that happens, Ellis and Coleman need not try making plays themselves, and can concentrate on tying up blockers. If that succeeds, tell me that the Jets' new pass-rush won't scare anyone. Quite frankly I find it exciting.
The Bills will be better, I don't have any doubt about that. The Patriots will still be very good. The Dolphins will improve, basically because it can't get worse. If we see potential from the Bills and Jets in particular, I think this will be a very competitive division . . .

Malph182, you are correct, we are both hoping for progress fro two young QBs. The left side of you offensive line should be great with Ferguson & Feneca, the rightside is the worry. Pass rush should be very which will help out the DBs it is the run that Jenkins will need to stay healthy.
I think T. Jones is a very good back that may be getting old. He turns 30 this year, that is the age RBs start to go south (Not all Backs). I Cotchery and Clemons get on the same page it will help keep Jones under 300 carries, otherwise he is going to wear out.

Since people are talking about the AFC East now, I'll throw in my 2 cents.
The Dolphins can't get any worse (obviously). But how much better did they get? This team will not compete for a winning record this year. Remember, Buffalo's rookie QB threw 4 TD's against that D. They would 10 new starters to compete. I have no dount Parcells already has them on the right track, but that will take a year or so to develop.
The Jets have done a lot to get better, but QB is the big issue. If Clemens steps up and controls the O, they can be much better. They have some key pieces in place and some nice drafting.
The Pats are who they are. They are still the best, but people take it for granted that they will be there forever.
Again, Buffalo has now had 3 straight excellent drafts. They needed a corner and a big WR, and what did they get? The TOP corner and the BIGGEST WR. All that they need now is someone to come on at the TE position, and they can be a real contender. Of course, the questions about coaching and QB still remain from earlier posts.
I think Buffalo will compete for playoffs, NY will not be a pushover, and Miami is stronger just by simply getting rid of their HC and bringing in Parcells.
