Wow, that's shocking. Are there no class acts left in pro sports? I never would've thought Marvin Harrison would've been the type to get involved in a bar fight and certainly didn't think he or anyone he would hang with would be shooting at people. Jeez!
On a selfish note: Any chance if he gets convicted and sentenced to jail time he can get a work-release program and play for his hometown Eagles?

Actually, when he said "you can take a man out of north philly but you cant take the north philly out of the man" he was making a reference to Marvin Harrison being a thug. His statement had nothing to do with where the shooting happened.

You're right. He was obvioulsy making a thug/ghetto reference and only a thug/ghetto reference. He could't possibly have been making a crack about Philly being thug/ghetto.

I'm surprised to see Harrison involved in something like this. It's more the type of thing I'd expect from that scumbag Tony Dungy. he only shoots at gays and non chiristians

I sure didn't see this coming. T.O., I wouldn't have been shocked, Michael Irvin, I would have expected it, any Bengal would have been fair game, but Marvin, ....

Now I have to take down my little Marvin idols. Well, at least I can still drop him from my fantasy team if he's in trouble. Still, I just can't imagine what the arguement would have been about, 7 bullets. Why do people feel they need to use all their bullets just because they pulled out their weapon?

This is one of those things you hear about that you go back and forth with. One side of you says there's no way this happend but the other side says so what if it did. Being a Bengals fan I could really careless what Marvin Harrison does because he plays for the Colts. I do have to say though..."All Colts Fans, I feel your pain." My guys can't seem to stay out of trouble. Just like alledgedly Ahmad Brooks the Linebacker for the Bengals punched some lady in the face. I know mhy boys like wearing orange but lets leave the orange suits on the field.

I wonder how Mr. Hypocrite Tony Dung-ee will try to blame the Gays and Lesbians for Marvin's shooting?? Dungy has the media fooled into thinking he is this great guy when he actually takes hundred's of thousands of dollars a year giving speeches for Hate Groups that masquerade as Churches.
Too bad Marvin didn't pump a few bullets in the god-fearing Tony instead.
The world would have been less one hater

The guy who was shot couldn't ID who shot him in broad daylight, and neither could anyone else except one guy who miraculously could name Harrison (maybe the "witness" is the real shooter).
I've never met him, but I do think Marvin Harrison is smarter than to shoot a guy in broad daylight in front of a bar (that's in his name), take the gun (that is registered in his name), to a car wash (that's in his name), and "hide" it in a bucket.
Harrison said the gun never left his house, but it obviously had. Maybe it left the house after he did (he was at "the office" that day).
In other words, something is stinking in Denmark.
The "facts" against him are a little too tidy.
Who was this other guy and what was the argument about that started all of this

WOW true or not... that was still mind blowing... as much disdain I have for what you said I happen to love the part about hate groups maquerading as churches... That is where we are today, I happened to listen to Obama's pastor on CNN the other day and the guy sowed so much hatred toward the american government who gave him the right to speak his mind then went on to flip flop about reconciling and banding with each other in love like a hypocrite while trying to gather sympathy for the tragedy that occured on the slave ships; preaching how the god of the slave ship owner was different than the god of the slave...
His message was rooted in hate and division, I can only imagine what is going on in Osamas mind.... Church breeding hatred in the name of love, that pretty much covers the reality of religion and what is wrong with the world today. WOW I almost hijacked this thread... LOL
Seeing Dungy brought into this is uncalled for. Why don't you Haters create your very own Dungy thread... This makes the what 10th refence to dungy so far?
