The guy played for 8 different teams during his long baseball career...

Yeah, and Rickey Henderson was only an ex-Oakland A...

Come on...

Dale Murphy is an ex-Brave...

Well, gee if you cannot tell the difference between Pete Rose and Julio Franco's careers, maybe you are a prime candidate to write more stupid CBS Sportsline headlines.

Congratulations.

Didn't this guy win a batting title in the early 90's with the Texas Rangers? Why isn't that mentioned? I believe he was an All Star game MVP also, but I'm not sure when.

Julio France was an ex-Indian. He played 8 years with cleveland a 6 year stint where his batting numbers were: .273, .286, .288, .306, .319, .303 and then a two year stint which read: .322, .284. Hisi single best year was with the Rangers, his second best year was with the White Sox, but no doubt, Franco put up 8 fine seasons for the Indians, something he did for no other team. Although the Braves do deserve a little bit of credit for revitalizing his career.

Yeah, well as they say in the biz it was a slow news day, and it apparently was important enough for you to respond to something you probably should have just walked away from.

Is this "really a great topic" for you to respond to?

Genius...pure genius.
