Ok the draft is over, most of the major free agent aquisitions have occured, so its time for some pre-season predictions.  How will your team do this upcoming season? And please back it up.. no one liners, oh my team is great.. or something like that..  To give an example i will throw out my ideas on San Fran Niners. I think they will at best go 8-8.  Split the seasons games with the Cardinals and the Seahawks, and its about time to sweep the Rams, (Niners swept Cards last season and the Seahawks the season before its the Rams turn).  so that puts them right there at 4-2 however, they get the Patriots early in the season, as well as the Super Bowl champion Giants and the always touch Eagles, Not to mention they get the Saints and Reggie Bush has been a terror for the Niners. so at the bye.. week 9.. after playing, Cardinals, Seahawks, Lions, Saints, Patriots, Eagles, Giants, and the Seahwaks one more time.. Niners are at best.. 3-5.  With the only wins at home against Seattle and Arizona and against Detriot.  After the bye, they get the Cardinals again, Rams, Cowboys, Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Rams, and Redskins.  so at the end they might get to go 8-8 and fighting with te Redskins for a playoff spot.  Unforteanetly i dont see that as enough, I have the Rams winning the West, Packers winning the North The Cowboys winning the East, and yes the Falcons! winning the South.  With the Giants and Redskins/or the Vikings, getting the NFC wildcards.

Ok so there is my predictions, what are yours?

OK. I like your layout and description, but you have the Rams winning the West, but getting swept by your Niners.  If the Rams get swept by the Niners, I don't think they will win the West.  I would guess the Cardinals finally get themselves square and play some good football this year, or maybe your Niners.

Because I can see how this all might be confusing I broke it down in the schedules the NFC West for all four. And perhaps you might get to see why i say the Rams win the West.

Niners:                       Cardinals:              Seahawks:               Rams:

Cardinals: 1-0           @Niners: 0-1         @Bills: 1-0              @Eagles: 1-0

@Seahawks: 1-1       Dolphins: 1-1       Niners: 2-0             Giants: 1-1

Lions: 2-1                   @Redskins: 1-2    Rams: 3-0              @Seahawks: 1-2

@Saints: 2-2              @Jets: 1-3              Bye                            Bills: 2-2

Patriots: 2-3                Bills: 2-3                 @Giants 3-1            Bye:

Eagles: 2-4                 Cowboys: 2-4       Packers: 3-2           @Redskins: 3-2

@Giants: 2-5              Bye:                         @Bucs: 3-3               Cowboys: 4-2

Seahawks: 3-5           @Panthers: 3-4    @Niners: 3-4           @Patriots: 4-3

Bye                               @Rams: 3-5           Eagles: 3-5              Cardinals: 5-3

@Cardinals: 3-6         Niners: 4-5            @Dolphins: 4-5       @Jets: 5-4

Rams: 4-6                   @Seahawks: 4-6   Cardinals: 5-5        @Niners: 5-5

@Cowboys: 4-7          Giants: 4-7              Redskins: 6-5          Bears: 6-5

@Bills: 5-7                   @Eagles: 4-8         @Cowboys: 6-6      Dolphins: 7-5

Jets: 5-8                       Rams: 4-9              Patriots: 6-7             @Cardinals: 8-5

@Dolphins: 6-8          Vikings: 4-10          @Rams: 7-7             Seahawks: 8-6

@Rams: 7-8              @Patriots: 4-11       Jets: 7-8                   Niners: 8-7

Redskins: 8-8 or 7-9   Seahawks: 4-12    @Cardinals: 8-8   @Falcons: 9-7

If the Rams are able to stay healthy they have a very talented team, Chris Long and Adam Carriker can cause havock on teams. I think they have the ability to take down the Cowbys, Eagles, and Redskins. Giving the NFC West most likely looking as follows.

Rams: 9-7

Seahawks: 8-8

Niners: 7-9

Cardinals: 4-12

The Colts will go 13-3 this year. The Colts will split the series against Jaxonville and Houston while sweeping Tennessee. The Colts will then sweep the series against the NFC North and AFC North. The Colts win the New England game 31 - 24. However the Colts will lose the San Diego game (again...) 27 - 21. The Colts will secure the #2 seed in the AFC if not the #1 seed. The Colts will make it back to the Super Bowl and beat the Cowboys 28 - 21.

The Colts will go 13 - 3. The Colts will split the series against Jaxonville and Houston but sweep Tennessee. The Colts will sweep both the AFC North and NFC North. For the best games of the season, the Colts will beat the Patriots 31 - 24 but lose to the Chargers 28 - 24. The Colts will get the #1 after getting the tiebreak over New England and reach the Super Bowl. In the big game, the Colts will beat the Cowboys (Yes the Cowboys will finally win a playoff game) 28 - 21.

Colts will be Super Bowl 43 champs. Mark my words.

I can agree with you on the Colts making it to the Super Bowl, if Marvin isn't suspended.  But I just dont see the Cowboys making it that far. They just dont have the true leadership necessary to get to the super bowl.  I say the Giants actually have a good shot at a repeat appearance, if Strahan comes back.. Wouldn't that be a record breaking viewing.. Eli Maning Vs. Peyton Manning?
