The bitch is not quiet what I consider pedigree material... She was neglected when we got her a month ago, lets put it this way, she is 4 and could barely walk after I took her and Jack to an island down the street from my house to run around for about a half hour. She is however making huge strides and the hair on her back is finally starting to grow back she had chewed off...
It was pathetic... We took her Jack and a pit bull Jack is in love with to another Island yesterday, we had to swim across a creak about 50 yards across or so t get to it, she is fairing much better, considering that after the 3 hour session she is showing no signs of wear and tear... I was thinking we would have to put her down there for a minute.
Thing is her disposition could not be any better, she is sweet as can be and gets along with our cat's just fine. As far as being able to comprehend us, She seems highly intelligent. That is the thing about shepherds, they have an outstanding personality.
