i dunno how making the playoffs last year and beat the Mavs, and being the first 48 win team not to make the playoff makes up a hype team? i would call that an up and coming team..now the Mavs they were an up and coming team, shit they even made it to the promised land, but then they blew it to D-Wade, were the first 1 seed to lose to an 8 seed in 7 game series, lost again in the first round, and all u got to show for it is Dirk and some washed up old men... dont be jealous cuz we got Nellie and a good young core of players, just embrace it... you had your chance, you blew it, it happens....

I have to agree w/ DC that the Mavs were better than the Warriors this year. However I can't agree that the Warriors are a second–rate team. Even though they didn't make the playoffs this year, this was the year where the west was about twice as competitive as the East. They're one nine or ten competitive, first–rate teams in the West.
I'm not going to try to be DC's personal psychologist and decide weather he's bitter or not.

Did you guys really think I woud back off the trash talk after this playoff loss.. Have you not read my previous messages.. We are a BAAAAADDD team... And still kicked your A$$!!! So by saying that.. The Warriors are improving. The Mavericks are in decline; they were worse this year than last and will be worse next year. I love Dallas transplants since they pay top dollar for my LL mid-court aisle seats.
Going to those playoff games against Dallas was the greatest sports experience. We rocked America; everyone was talking about the basketball-saavy Oakland fans. Only basketballers can stick with a door mat team for that long; the whole LL was sold out to season ticket holders so the bandwagon fans were excluded.

I have seen some slow players run through this city .. to name a few.. Raef LaFrentz.. Popeye Jones.. Your mama... Cherokee Parks... Keith Van Horn ... 22.4 ppg.. 8.6 reb career averages.. That is including his rookie year when he avg 8 ppg and 3 reb.. If not for those rookie avgs it would increase quite a bit.
His Postseason stats are even better.. 25.3 ppg 11.1 rpg
He has higher averages (PPG AND REB) than any single player on the Warriors team. ANY PLAYER! He shoots a higher FT% He shoots a higher FG% and 3PT% than ANY WARRIOR! ALL WHILE PLAYING THE POWER FORWARD POSITION!! Seriously LOSER! Do you really want to go there!?
I guess you think Duncan or Garnett is overrated too? Because they both have a lower ppg avg.. All while shooting almost identical shooting % and a pathetic FT% and 3PT%.
Neither one of those two players have the all around game that DIRK DOES!

The Mavericks, or the "horrible" Warriors who kicked their a$$ last year, and during the regular season dominated them? Seems like an easy answer to me.
