CP3...the real MVP

Say what you want about Chris Paul but to me and what I have seen.....he is the true MVP player in the NBA. He has made everyone around him a better player. David West and Tyson Chandler are reaping the benefits of him as the point guard and leader on the floor.

Kobe is playing great ball but the players around him for the most part are at a higher talent level then the Hornets and being MVP is about elevating your team to the highest point which is what Chris Paul is doing. 

my thoughts exactly!  no disrespect to kobe but CP3 without a doubt should have been the MVP this year. he has taken a talent depleated team that everyone had as an after thought when the season started and elevated them into a team that seriously can contend for a championship. and he is doing it with guys who are average in the league. you take kobe off the Lakers and they are walkin into the playoffs as a #6 seed or so with the talent they have around him, you remove CP from the  Hornets and you got a team that woulda been lookin for a high lottery pick this year....

Chris Paul has dominated the league this year. They've given the MVP the last two years to Steve Nash and now they are going to pass on Chris Paul?!!  We are talking about the new and improved John Stockton and by far better than Nash and all the others out there. Kobe? Please?!!

please. cuz of katrina were suppose to feel sorry for that team. only reason you call him mvp cuz you HATE kobe.

You're right...I DO hate Kobe.  But that has nothing to do with it.  Either does Katrina.  Nobody said anything about those things.

Paul is the real MVP because he's a better overall player and he's MORE VALUABLE to his team than Kobe is to the Lakers.

Yeah thats why CP3 has 2 other all stars on the team and another great player in Peja he does bring out the best of them but Kobe has a little less talent on the team (until Bynum comes back) and torched the Hornets to win the West.
