Interesting story on the extent that the Patriots taped the Steelers.  No wonder Ward was saying the Pats were calling out the Steelers plays.

that  was 6 years ago, maybe Wines Hard was right though, food for thought.  I would not put it past that lowlife, scumsucking, worm-trolling, pedophile-looking maggot of a creep Bellichick to have been part of it. But I will hold back judgement until Goodell and his lawyers make a statement. My next post I will really tell you how I feel about New England's tactics. LOL.

<--------------------------------
--------  have some Kool-Aid, we're going 15-1 again. whoo hoo.

Instead of whinng about that loss, let's hope Mike Humpall and Ryan Mundy are big-time special teams standouts, then we won't have any excuses if we meet them in January.

The NFL wants this to go away.  They are going to cover up any new evidence.  The Patriots got a slap on the wrist.  The team itself wasn't punished even though they are the ones who benefited from the tapes.

Their super bowls are tainted

15-1?!? Why not 19-0?  Then we could get in a legal battle with the Patriots because they trademarked it, but we did it first LOL! That would stick it to them!

Pass the Kool-Aid, I'm in!

I agree!!  As an avid Steelers fan I really can't stand the Patriots, especially since all this info is being released how they cheat.  I don't care how many super bowls they have won.  If more info keeps being released every SB win they have needs to have an astrick next to them.  Enough on the Partiots for a minute, It's almost time for Steelers Football!!                       "Here we go STEELERS!  Here we go!!"

Dan Rooney, being the class guy that he is, has already said that taping did not affect the outcome of the game. While he might not have had all the evidence, I'll follow his lead and not complain about a lost opportunity that the Steelers can't get back. It's over and we've moved on -- winning Super Bowl #5 along the way.

Still, the degree of cheating by Bellichek and company is pretty brazen. In a league where the margin of victory is so small that "on any given Sunday" any team can win, having an edge like the defensive calls of your opponent could easily be the difference between 8-8 (no playoffs) and 13-3 (home field throughout).

If the Walsh tapes cover games going back further than Bellichek has admitted, I hope Roger Goodell hands out some more discipline, like a year-long suspension. Cheating, which affects the game itself, is a far worse problem for the integrity of the game than the character issues of some players (though that also needs to be cleaned up). If you don't have an honest competition, you might as well be watching professional wrestling.

These tapes will be swept under the rug like the others....The NFL will try to avoid any future scandals and Rooney was just showing the Patriots what class and integrity is all about.....They have cheated the game and that will never change in my eyes anyway you want to twist it....
