Tikis kept saying Barber ran out of gas,.............Barber rushed for 129 yards, Jacobs rushed for 67,..............how dumb is that statement?  Only a moron who just wants to talk crap would make a dumb statement like that knowing that the facts say otherwise.

The two (supposed) phantom holding calls:  in that game Uhm Dallas had 10 penalties for 84 yards, NY had 8 for 70 yards, so what are you talking about.  You still should have won that game if your argument is now about penalties, because we had more of them for more yards lost.  Make up your mind which excuse you're going to use to fit your argument or leave it alone.

You also had more first downs than dallas did which indicates again that you should have won that game, but apparently you were not the better team,...............so what happened there?

Excuses are just answers people use when they can't prove their point, facts are what you bring to the table.  The facts show that the game would likely have been much different without the un-earned fifteen yards and only eleven seconds left in the first half.

Isn’t this what you are essentially saying about the playoff game? Dallas lost because of a legit penalty that cost you the game. That sounds like an excuse.

Funny, this is the exact opposite of the playoff game. Dallas “outplayed” the Giants with more yards and first downs, yet they lost the game. So by this reasoning above, Dallas was not the better team.

By this definition, the only losses that count against Dallas are when they are completely dominated? There are games every week in the NFL that are decided by one play or situation which changes the momentum of the game or decides the outcome. That neither team was able to dominate the other. That doesn’t mean the team who won doesn’t deserve the victory.

The last game of the season where the Giants lost to the Patriots was a game dominated by the Giants for most of 3 periods, and then the momentum changed and the Patriots scored several times to win the game. Do they not deserve the victory because the Giants were not totally dominated?

I understand it is a bitter pill to swallow that the Cowboys were not victorious. When the Giants lost to San Fran in the playoffs several years ago after dominating for over a half and then letting the 49ers get back into the game, and then to be denied a penalty (a flagrant one) for holding during the last second FG attempt to tie the game, I was upset. But put it in perspective. I have come to terms with this loss. The Giants should never have been in a position to lose because of a non-call at the waning moments of the game. They were not good enough or deserving enough to have won. If the Cowboys had been good enough, they would have won the game and a stupid penalty wouldn’t or shouldn’t have affected the outcome.

Finally, our offense was not dominating in the second half. It was our defense which kept us in the game against a very good high powered high scoring offense. I’ll give credit to the Cowboys that they played the Giants tough on defense, better than both regular season games. The Giants also played tough. Offensively, the Giants were very predictable, especially the last few series. But teams cannot always win by offense. Sometimes it’s defense that wins it and in the rare instance, special teams. A win is a win. Let the game go. When Dallas is good enough, it won’t matter about a stupid penalty, they will win the game anyway. That’s what Champions do.

While blue star has clearly knotted up your under garments over the past couple weeks and while I do not dive into fellow posters with the same exuberance I am going to bring in a little something of my own. Amidst your dismissal for a Cowboy poster who is strong willed and who is participating in a series of trash talking threads let me refresh all of your memories on where this started.

A Giants poster engaged Cowboys posters for a fun round of trashtalking. Must I repeat that statement to augment its importance? Another Giants fan respectfully, however still in an attempt for some sort of internal reprimand by cowboys posters came over to complain about blue star coming to your board throwing up a trash talk thread there. So far besides a lot of fluff about each individual's choice of words this still was a series created by a giants poster. Again I make no judgments here it is purely a factual representation.

Finally, to get into the heart of Giants fans frustration and what has put them into attack mode is the personal and lifestyle references from Blue star. I will hold no judgment on the actual literature and personal references within this thread and all other related since the orgination for one particular reason, one particular poster who has participated in this thread. This particular poster quite some time ago decided to go on a steroid like rant threatening to fight and physically impair any of the individuals opposing him within the thread and did so with the same frequency and enthusiasm as blue star's harmless trash talking episode. So if you are going to judge please remember this was about football and still is and if you choose so to engage in the art of trash talking you best have something besides a post and run. I have never seen someone so enraged and out of control as this particular poster I mentioned and you know who you are. I will gladly publicize it if Giants fans want to know.. all you have to do is ask.
