Sweet. Give up a three run shot to a guy with a porn stache whose wife is a better athlete than he is. Another stellar start V.

I think Treanor knew exactly what pitch was coming. As treanor crossed home plate you can see him talking to Gonzalez, it almost looked like an acknowledgement from Treanor to Gonzalez that he was right. It seemed to be the exact same thing Schroeder was talking about in regards to the runner on 2nd base signalling to the hitter what pitch is coming.

Yup, this is getting worse and worse every mother f-ing night. Out pitchhing staff is the laughing stock of the N.L. Our hitting is so bad it makes me want to jump off a water tower here in town. I am not much of a stat guy but can someone please tell me how many people the Brewers have left on base in this series and the Reds series, I am going to go out on a limb here and say 35 or something like. I just threw up in my mouth a little, damn you brewers why have you forsaken me like this, damn you!!

To put it bluntly,
We suck (currently).
The thing is, any manager can have this squad and suck at this level. I can manage this team and suck at this level. I will not defend Yost and quite honestly I want him gone. He has never been able to get the team going when needed and has made dumb decisions for too many years. We should be one of the top offensive teams in the MLB, and we're not producing. As much as you can blame it on the players, there needs to be fire and motivation from the coaches. Yost, make a point to prove you belong as part of this ball club!
Grrrrrrr

Well, the scrubs each had at least one hit each (best being Joe Dillon being 2-for-4 + walk), but Weeks, Cameron and Brawn all went o-fer.
Lets try a new game: you go o-fer, you ride the pine for a day. You come in from the bench and get more hits than the average starter: you play again tomorrow. As they brought in Counsell to pinch hit for the 2-for-2 Villy, maybe he should get to pinch hit for someone tomorrow (in a sacrifice bunt or empty bases situation, not a 2 out one;) )
lets shake things up a bit.
How anti-clutch were Brawn and Kapler though? Geez...talk about ducks on the pond....

Officially frustrated.
Seems like you can't be a Brewers fan if you're not, though...

im still trying to figure out why we have two guys who either strikeout or pop out as our 1 and 2 hitters. Oh and hey, looks like Hardy had a good game NOT batting in front of the pitcher. See the "time for a lineup change" thread if you dont know what i mean.
over/under how many more losses it takes to get Yost fired. You'd think that back to back sweeps at the hands of the Astros and Marlins would get that done. it may not be all his fault, but someone's gotta take the heat, and you can't fire the players.

I honestly don't even get that mad anymore. At this point I don't have much expectations for this team, anything better than a 4th place finish will just be a bonus. The most angry I got tonight was when Villa didn't make it through the 6th AGAIN; I can't look at him for as long when he does that.
Plus side: Every team goes through a rough stretch at some point in the year. The main reason this is so much more frustrating than other losing stretchs is because it's at the beginning of the year, which is when we build our impression of the team's chances. This team will not continue to be this awful. So keep your chins up, Brewers fans, and always look on the bright side of life.
