haha i never thought i would agree with you on anything, bleedcoltsblue, but that was the perfect post. nice work elint.
and how have the Patriots never cheated? the commish just took their draft pick away and fined bill for no reason at all?
don't get me wrong, i am super tired of hearing "oh, the patriots cheated so now all their accomplishments mean nothing". i know this is a very unconventional view for a Colts fan to have, but the patriots are a damn good team. i love having a rival that is as good as we are. it makes the season much more fun to watch. just like the the Vikings/Packers about 10 years ago (i'm from south dakota so it was a HUGE rivalry because they were the only 2 good teams in their division at that time...the bucs were alright and the Lions and Bears were terrible). anyways, i digress.
i was actually rooting for the patriots in the playoffs until we lost, because i wanted the colts to be the team to knock them off. instead, that glory goes to the Giants, but i was really, really hoping that the colts would be the ones forever remembered for ending the patriots perfect season, just like miami is remembered for beating the 85 bears.

Thanks for the props. I agree with you cir. I too love having a capable rival. It makes the victories that much sweeter and of course the losses hurt allot also. I have a good buddy that is a huge pats fan and we always have a case of beer on any Colts/Pats games, so it's all good fun. The patsrule guys is not fun and his arguments are the same as kids on the playground....Yes they are, No their not, YES...they ARE, NO...their NOT. If he had a good argument, I'd be happy to hear him out. Instead I give him the cheater and Giants loss routine. It sure is a fun way to beat up on some of the pats fans this year.
P.S. My buddy won a case of beer from me this year so I put on the address label ATTN: 18 wins and 1 GIANT loss. He was not amused.

Wow, that is kind of immature to say that about me. So, what would be a good argument. What I post is all true, it is on you to trust me, but you apparantly don't. And someone mentioned the 2003 regular season game against the Colts. I would read that post before judging me on the last post that I wrote.

You can still get caught and not cheat. Just because the cameraman forgot to press the zoom in button on his camera does not mean that they actually cheat. I do not believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. THEY ARE BOTH FAKE! It was nice when we killed you guys when one of your safeties guaranteed victory. You guys probably would have won had you not guaranteed victory.

Every team has their own little tricks, I guess theoretically you can call them cheating. You have to admit, pumping in noise is a little different than recording closed practices. By the way, I'm a Steelers fan, I inherited my fondness of the Colts from my husband.

Tony Dungy clearly has someone who brings in the machine that pumps in the crowd noise and leaves the stadium after the game and when the investigators come, the machine is not there. Just because your team had the best defense, you still lost to the Chargers and the awful coaching of Norv Turner. Get over it!

I have never seen any proof of the Patriots cheating. The supposed video tapeing of the Jets sideline had no impact on the game. Cheating means that you do something that gives you an advantage toward winning the game. The Partriots have done nothing to have an avantage to winning the game, except for having better talent.

Why doesn't the other team just audible to another play. They would know the original play but not the audible. If they know that it is going to be a pass, just audible to a run. It's that simple. Or if they know that its a run, audible to a pass. The tape could be trying to trick the Patriots. They could say that they are running a play but they could be tricking the Patriots. It's all too complicated.

You are an idiot. They wouldn't be playing the game anymore, they would be playing the camera. The cameras that they used were not live feeds. They were tapes. They could be taping anytime, then show Bill or whoever the tapes whenever they wanted. The team would never know when they are being taped or not, so they don't know that the other team knows.

Well, since the game is over, how would that help win the game. The game would be over. And even though it was the Jets, we never got a chance to watch the tapes. If we had watched the tapes beforehand, than played the Jets, and then Bill Belichick shot some of their players, and possibly killed them, then that would be cheating. The tapes were destroyed and they did not have a chance to study them. So, how is that cheating? I'll tell you. It's not cheating. Cheating would be pumping in crowd noise into the stadium like the Indinapolis Colts do, or attempting to tape another teams practice, like the Jets do. But he got thown out by a Patriot security guard. The Patriots always play fair, they have never cheated. Mangini clearly has issues and to distract himself, he makes this crap up that every team does, but nobody cares about it.
