Deron Williams. I just think that Deron Williams has the edge in defence and endurance. CP3 has an advantage with a running center. In which they produced points with both scoring and assists leading to team wins. Their ally-hoops are better than Michael and Scotty during The Running of the Bulls. But Deron is on a grind it out, play good offence and strong defence team type of team. This gives him the edge. ROLLING.

I honestly think that it will be Chris Paul, but as a Jazz fan I'm more than happy with Williams. Paul is better at what he does which is attack, attack, attack... He gets to make plays, NO offense is mostly Paul drives for buckets or assists. Williams though, is better for Sloan. He orchestrates the offense and plays some defense, and whenever he has the ball I get a feeling that something good will happen... I just wish he'd call his own number earlier in games rather than waiting 'till last minutes, or too late.

I picked Paul but I would rather have D. Williams on my team because he's stronger, better defensive player, and can create shot on his own. Chris Paul needs better supporting cast than D. Williams to be successful.

They are both very good. If the Blazers here where I live at P-town gets one of these guys, man we would be good. I would want either one. Both are quick, strong, and smart. Deron have the edge in strong, and CP3 has the edge in quickness and slight in smartness. I think both would be very good in the future.
From Wat I read around, They are saying Derrick Rose would join these two as the elite point gaurds in the next 3 years. All I can see is we will see. It would be very interesting to watch and I am very excited. Go NBA for keeping an exciting league, unlike some proffesional sports with like horrible reputations.

CP3 by far look at there records and their stats
Williams 20 points 9 assists 3 turnovers 3 rebounds shooting 69% from freethrow and 49% from the field
CP3 is 25 points 11 assists 1.2 turnovers 4 rebounds shooting 80% from freethrow and 51% from the field
they are playing the Lakers and the horents are playing spurs
both very good teams and grand players
but CP3 is way better

flgator, you are crazy!! Do you watch either team play, or just look at the stats and figure the guy with the better stats MUST be a better player??? Look at how the two teams play. CP3 has alot more freedom....A superstar no doubt. DWill on the other hand is in a Jerry Sloan offense which is a grind it out offense. No player really meant to stand out hugely.....VERY team oriented. DWill runs that offense almost to perfection. Put DWill on the Hornets and you would see him with similiar stats as CP3...without the number of steals cause CP3 is pretty damn good at that!!

Its too close to call. Williams has a better supporting crew, but paul is the better individual right now. I think williams will just keep getting better over the next 3 years, but CP3 will just stay as good as he is right now. So i think its gonna be a tie.

your and idiot if you think chris paul is way better if anything they are equal. Plus you dont even know how to spell hornets! your using their playoff stats not their regular season stats.
Deron 18.8 pts., 10.5 assists, 50 percent from the field and 39 percent from the three line and 80 percent from the foul line. he has only missed four games in his career.
Chris 21.1 pts, 11.6 assists, 48 percent from the field, 36 from the three and 85 from the foul line. he has also yet to play a full year in the nba he has missed 20 plus games.
Deron williams is stronger and a better shooter and will be better in three years and will have a longer career.

I love both of those guys and just imagine Derrick Rose thrown into the mix in years to come. The NBA is getting more exciting with the next generation of players starting to emerge. The young guys (CP3) are exposing the dinasaurs (Kidd).

D Will by far. Let me put it to you this way... USA basketball kicked Paul off the team and added Williams (because of his strength and he shoots 3-ball better, over 50% this playoff).
Williams has already been to Conference Finals.
Williams owns Paul head-to-head. Check the stats...
Yeah, cp3 is good, but there's a reason the Jazz drafted Williams ahead of him.

I'm sorry.....is this a serious question? Chris Paul, hands down. Deron Williams' own mama wouldn't vote for him. Deron maybe an all-star in 3 years, but Paul will be MVP-candidate, again.
