What about RHCP Stadium Arcadium?

I got a special place in me for the Chilis cuz its a band I gre up with, but I think Mother's Milk, Freaky Stylee or Blood Sugar Sex Magic are better albums than Stadium Arcadium..

.Classic Chili Peppers, John Frusciante style.

..seen them in concert a couple of times, fantastic band to see live, you got the money go seem em, worth every red cent.

You shouldn't let Uno see this terrible grammar. That is exactly how the feud with the Chiefs' fans and Hogsroll started.

The Wedding Present - Seamonsters

I would go with Bizzaro, from the WP. I love the song 'Brassneck':

"I just decided I don't trust you anymore..." Brilliant.

Bizarro is a brilliant album too, you're right - someone 'borrowed' my copy and I still haven't got it back.  I used to do a cover version of 'Brassneck' with my old band, though, and it's nice to meet another person who appreciates their growly majesty.  Have you listened to much of David Gedge's Cinerama solo project?  Some really good stuff there too, a bit more subtle with the guitars and general instrumentation.

Today I'll give you another alternative top five (alternative as in different from my first, some of this stuff is fairly mainstream)

The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes
REM - Up
Morrissey - You Are The Quarry
Stone Roses - Stone Roses.

Johnny Cash: Live at Folsom Prison

Creedence Clearwater Revival: Cosmo's Factory

Bruce Springsteen: BTR

The first Aerosmith album -- One Way Street remains one of the great sleepers of all time.

Lynard Skynard One More From the Road -- Worth it just to hear the jam on Gimme a T for Texas

Led Zeppelin IV -- I've always said if I ran a company I would start every workday by blasting Rock and Roll over the intercom to get the adrenaline flowing.
